Important risk factors could cause actual future results and other future events

building out the new network, and the time and costs relating to building out
the network. Voice calling, including to 911, is not supported over satellite at
this time. There are circumstances under which text-to-911 service over
satellite may not be available or may be limited in comparison to traditional
text-to-911 service. Those circumstances may include potential delay in
connecting the text-to-911 service, potential inability to determine your
location and telephone number, potential consequences of moving into or out of
terrestrial coverage during a text exchange, potential inability for your device
to connect to the satellite, and potential issues in connecting between
satellite and terrestrial networks. Some 911 text messages over satellite may be
delivered to an emergency call center, rather than to a traditional 911
answering point. The emergency call center may not be able to contact local
emergency authorities or may be delayed in doing so. All satellite messages,
including 911 messages, are subject to delivery delays.

QUESTIONS?
* WHAT IS THE T-MOBILE STARLINK BETA?
The T-Mobile Starlink beta enables us to test the service in real world
circumstances to ensure it meets our high standards prior to launch.
Customers who register will get a chance to be one of the first to experience
satellite-to-cell service. We expect the beta to begin in early 2025,
starting with texting and expanding to data and voice over time. The beta is
open to all T-Mobile postpaid customers for free, but capacity is limited.
Customers are encouraged to register now.
* WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE BETA?
All T-Mobile postpaid customers are eligible to participate in the beta.
We’ll start testing with a smaller number of customers with optimized phones
initially, to ensure we deliver a great experience. We’ll expand the beta to
more customers and phones as more satellites launch.
* WILL EVERYONE WHO REGISTERS GET INTO THE BETA?
There are a limited number of spots for the beta test, so we encourage
everyone to sign up as soon as possible. T-Mobile postpaid customers with
optimized devices will be admitted on a “first come, first served” basis.
We’ll expand the beta to more customers and more devices as more satellites
launch.
* WILL ALL PHONES WORK WITH THE BETA TEST?
To ensure a great customer experience during the beta, we are optimizing the
experience on select smartphones and will expand the beta to more customers
and devices as more satellites launch. We’ll provide more details on
optimized phones as we open the beta in early 2025.
* WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER SIGNING UP?
Not a thing. We will provide regular updates on progress to all that have
registered. And then you’ll receive a notification with all the details you
need when you are admitted to the beta.
* WHEN DOES T-MOBILE STARLINK BETA TEST BEGIN?
We anticipate starting the beta test in early 2025.
* HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
T-Mobile Starlink beta is free during the beta test. We will provide more
details about the commercial service at launch.
* WHERE WILL SATELLITE COVERAGE BE AVAILABLE?
Satellite coverage will work almost everywhere in the US where traditional
cell towers cannot provide coverage. During the beta test, performance may
vary depending on several factors like location and number of people using
the service simultaneously. Our partner SpaceX is launching satellites at a
historic pace, and each new launch will make the service better.
* CAN I GET SATELLITE SERVICE IN OTHER COUNTRIES DURING THE BETA?
No. At the time of the beta test, the services will be available only in the
US (where T-Mobile for Business has spectrum). Over time, we will explore
ways to work with global roaming partners and SpaceX to provide satellite
service to our customers in other countries.
* WHEN WILL YOU LAUNCH T-MOBILE STARLINK COMMERCIALLY?
We’ll get a lot of great feedback from customers in the beta test, and that
will tell us when we’re ready to launch – which we expect to be sometime in
2025.
