Action for Wellbeing is a registered charity that exists to reduce the number of
suicides in South Cumbria and North Lancashire. Their telephone service
offers FREE 1:1 support to anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings.
They also offer support to people bereaved by suicide or affected by suicide in
any way. The phone lines are manned by volunteers with lived experience.



You can get help for yourself or if you are concerned about someone else. If you

We use CrossFit as the initial engagement method combined with education, life
coaching, and practical skill development, so people become physically,
emotionally, mentally well and socially connected.



The 180 program is an exercise program for people recovering from addiction. 
The program provides intensive physical sessions focused on cross-fit, delivered
by people who themselves have broken addictions.  The ambition is to help people
break the cycle of addiction and any related cycles related to offending and
prison. They offer-



-A weekly CrossFit progressive program



-Expert food and nutrition sessions



-Educational workshops to build mental and emotional resilience



-Life coaching and mentoring



-Spiritual development programs 



-Access to community recovery and social groups



-Links to local jobs and volunteering



-Can attend the gym 3 times per week for 6 months free of charge.

Empower the Invisible Project (ETIP) is a peer-led service for adults with lived
experience of childhood sexual abuse. They support people who live in the West
Lancashire and Fylde Coast areas. They work with both males and females who are
still finding their lives are being affected by the experience of childhood
sexual abuse. They have several volunteer recovery champions. The champions are
all people who have accessed the service and now offer their time and experience
to empower others. 



ETIP can provide 1:1 support. The support is therapeutic and designed around
your needs. The aim is to help you find a path to recovery. ETIP will also
provide you with access to a well-established online support group. The group
has over 150 members who all have lived experience of childhood sexual abuse and
additional childhood traumas. The online group is monitored daily including
during the evening and at weekends.



You need to be referred to the ETIP by the NHS Talking Therapies service. To
begin the process you need to first contact your G.P.

This group is a daytime support service for young adults with special
educational needs and disabilities living in Morecambe. You will get support in
reaching your goals and building your skills. The team can support you in your
communication skills and improve your confidence and independence. Sessions will
be tailored to you and built on your interests. This is also a chance to meet
new people and make friends. This is a safe place. 



The service is for 16-25-year-olds with additional needs. Staff are trained to
provide specialist care including Peg feeding, personal care, and giving
medication.
