   WHAT YOU’LL DO
   
   The Northern Trust Rotational Development Program (RDP) is designed to
   develop the technical skills, business acumen, and leadership abilities of
   early career professionals. During the 24 month program, participants will
   have the opportunity to perform meaningful assignments in various rotations
   while gaining a broader perspective, along with exposure to leadership of the
   different departments in their chosen career track. Rotations are selected
   based on the business need as well as the RDP member’s career interests,
   goals, and skills.
   
   As a Technology Rotational Associate, you will be part of a motivated and
   supported community, attending tech events, contributing to significant
   products, empowered to learn and grow. You will be connected with mentors and
   advisors who will guide and advocate for you.
   
   TECHNOLOGY ROTATIONS INCLUDE:
   
   SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
   
   Develop technical and business knowledge and skills and gain exposure to
   leading technology stacks while you inhabit different roles within our
   various software development groups. To promote efficient, progressive
   learning, you will be supported by a community as you contribute to key IT
   projects and initiatives.
   
   INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
   
   You will operate and manage essential technology platforms that support
   business and financial applications, including cloud platforms like Azure and
   Amazon Web Services. You will be challenged as you work closely with
   developers, engineers and architects to manage traditional and cloud
   platforms as you drive reliability, scale and performance.
   
   CYBER SECURITY
   
   Explore security and cyber resiliency practices including data protection,
   threat and vulnerability management, and identity and access management. As
   you contribute you will work alongside other talented cyber security
   professionals collaborating with infrastructure and software development
   teams to ensure the integrity of data and platforms.
   
   THE PROGRAM:
   
    * (1) 12 month followed by (2) 6 month rotations

   WHO YOU ARE
   
    * You are pursuing or have recently earned a bachelor’s or advanced degree
      in Computer Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Information
      Technology (IT), Management Information Systems, Informatics at an
      accredited college/university with an expected graduation date of December
      2022 through Summer 2023
   
    * You have a minimum GPA of 2.7
   
    * You have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office
   
    * You have good verbal and written communication skills
   
    * You have proven analytical and problem-solving skills through course work,
      projects, and or previous internship experience
   
    * You have a strong interest in technology and innovation
   
    * Working knowledge of common programming languages (i.e., Java, C#,
      Javascript, Python, C/C++, Unix, SQL, etc.)
   
    * You have an understanding of agile methodologies (i.e. Scrum, TDD, devOps)
   
    * Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new
      technologies/systems
