HOW DO I CHANGE MY MAGAZINE MAILING ADDRESS?

You can update your mailing address on your magazine from your Cook's
Illustrated or Cook's Country account page, where you can log in to with your
account number or current mailing address.

On your magazine account page, click “Change Your Address” on the left side of
the screen. Once you have entered your new address, click “Save My Changes.”

HOW DO I UPDATE INFORMATION ON MY WEB MEMBERSHIP?

You can log in to your web account by clicking on your name or “Account” in the
upper right corner and “Manage” in the drop down menu. Or you can click here.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY MAGAZINE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL OPTIONS?

To update your magazine subscription automatic renewal option, visit your Cook's
Illustrated or Cook's Country account page and sign in with your account number
and zip code.

Once you have logged in, click on “View Subscriptions.” On the next page, click
on “Actions” and then select “Stop Continuous Service.”

Play, please log into your account with that service to update or cancel your
subscription there.

Our usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

Make sure you’re entering your email and password the same way you did when you
set up the account.

Make sure there are no spaces before your email address or password.

If your device automatically fills in your username and password, try erasing
this information from the login screen and entering your information manually.

Make sure you have cookies enabled.

WHAT IS THE AMERICA'S TEST KITCHEN APP?

The app is another way to use your phone to search and discover recipes and
ratings from America's Test Kitchen, Cook's Illustrated, and Cook's Country,
trusted by millions of home cooks. Save favorite recipes and ingredient ratings,
and create convenient, centralized shopping lists. The App is free for All
Access Multi-Site Members; it requires an in-app purchase for all other
customers. It is also compatible with Apple iPad devices.

HOW DO I RENEW MY MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION?

To renew your magazine subscription, log in to your Cook's Illustrated or Cook's
Country account page with your account number or mailing address.

Once you're logged in, click on “Renew Your Subscription” and follow the
instructions to renew your subscription.

WHEN DOES MY MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRE?

The expiration date of your subscription is located on your magazine wrapper
above your name. You can also find your expiration date by logging in to your
Cook's Illustrated or Cook's Country magazine account. Your expiration date will
be listed next to the magazine title.

If your subscription has been automatically renewed with a balance due, the
expiration date will be pushed out an additional year.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION?

You can cancel your magazine subscription from your Cook's Illustrated or Cook's
Country account page. Login with your account number, which you can find on your
invoice, or your mailing address. Once you're logged in, click “Cancel Your
Subscription” on the left side of the screen. If you do not see that option,
your subscription has either expired or has already been canceled.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY DIGITAL MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION?

iPad: Log in to your iTunes Account, and look for the option to manage your
subscriptions under “Settings,” where you can turn off auto-renewal for your
subscription.

Kindle: Log in to your Kindle account, and click on “Manage Subscriptions.” For
any questions about your Kindle subscription, you can also contact the Kindle
Customer Service department at 1-866-321-8851.

Nook: Log in to your Nook account, and click on My Account > Account Settings in
the top menu. From there, look for “Manage Subscriptions” under “Digital
Management.” You can also contact the Nook Customer Service department at
1-800-THE-BOOK (1-800-843-2665) or email them at newsstand@barnesandnoble.com.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A MULTI-SITE WEB MEMBERSHIP?

WHERE IS MY COOKBOOK ORDER?

Packages shipped USPS standard from our warehouse typically take 1-2 weeks for
delivery within the US. You'll receive an email confirmation with tracking once
your order has been shipped. Please allow 24 hours for the USPS to generate
updates to your shipping status.

Packages usually take 4-6 weeks to ship to Canada and 6-8 weeks for any other
international order.

I RECEIVED A DAMAGED BOOK OR AN ITEM IS MISSING FROM MY ORDER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your order arrived damaged or if something is missing from your order, you
can contact us at 1-800-611-0759 or send us an email, and we'll be happy to
replace it!

If you received a damaged item from another retailer, please reach out to them
directly for assistance.

We aren't able to replace books that have been damaged due to regular wear and
tear.

HOW DO I RETURN A COOKBOOK?

You can return a cookbook by filling out and printing our pre-paid return label,
here.
Please make sure to hang on to the bottom half of your return label so you can
track the return of your package. If you have any trouble printing the return

to a magazine, do I also get web access? Can I save a recipe or article? Why
can't I log in to the site? How is the Cook's Illustrated digital magazine
edition different from the print magazine? Can I take the Online Cooking School
courses on my iPad or tablet?


I HAVE A WEB MEMBERSHIP. WHY CAN'T I SEE THIS RECIPE?

The recipe you’re trying to view may not be included in your membership, which
is why you would see a symbol of a lock and an upgrade request when trying to
view it.

You can update your search options on the search results page. On the left side
of the search results page, you'll see a box labeled “Results From” and four
different options. Make sure that only your membership is checked, and you
should be able to access all those results.

If you ordered your membership through Amazon, you must login to your account by
clicking the “Login with Amazon” button on the login page.

IF I HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION TO A MAGAZINE, DO I ALSO GET WEB ACCESS?

A magazine subscription is separate from a web membership and doesn't include
online access.

You can access videos and Online Extras for the current Cook's Illustrated
issue’s recipes for up to four months after the issue was published by clicking
on the current issue here.

CAN I SAVE A RECIPE OR ARTICLE?

You can save a recipe or article by using our Favorites feature. Favorites are
designed to let you bookmark and organize your favorite recipes into categories
and menus. Click the “Save” ribbon or “Add to Favorites” to bookmark a page, and
click on “Favorites” to refer back to your favorite recipes.

WHY CAN'T I LOG IN TO THE SITE?

If you’re sure you’re on the right website, try these tips:

 1. Our usernames and passwords are case sensitive. Make sure you’re entering
    your email and password the same way you did when you set up the account.
 2. Make sure there are no spaces before your email address or password.
 3. If your computer automatically fills in your username and password, try
    erasing this information from the login screen and entering your information
    manually.
 4. Make sure you have cookies enabled.
 5. If you have antivirus or firewall software, make sure that we are listed as
    a “safe site.”
 6. Check the clock on your computer. If it’s not accurate, our website might
    not work properly

HOW CAN I PREPARE THE RECIPE WITH DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS OR SIZE ALTERATIONS?

Here at America’s Test Kitchen, we pride ourselves on our tireless research and
rigorous testing to ensure that each recipe we bring to you comes out right,
every time! That’s why we won’t recommend altering our recipes with ingredient
swaps or portion alterations, due to changes in flavor, texture, cooking time,
and other variables that might alter our final version. While we encourage all
home cooks to experiment, if we haven’t tested it, we won’t speak to any
variations you make on our thoroughly-tested recipes.

I HAVE ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS. HOW CAN I ALTER YOUR RECIPES TO MEET
THEM?

While we haven’t developed alternatives to most of our recipes to suit food
allergies and dietary restrictions, we certainly will consider addressing them
in future issues.
We know that for many of our fans, allergies and special dietary needs play a
big role in your choices in the kitchen. Providing detailed allergen and
nutritional information is a complicated and exacting science, and not our area
of expertise. And just like with our recipes, we believe that anything worth
doing is worth doing right!

DOES YOUR SHOW FOLLOW FDA REGULATION?

Everything we do at America’s Test Kitchen is chosen with the home cook in mind.
Because we are not serving the public, we do not require our test cooks to wear
hair nets, gloves, etc. While we consider ourselves authorities on food, we
rarely comment on issues of food safety. If that is your main concern, I'd
recommend that you contact the FDA for their guidelines.

Once you register your email address you can select “TV & Videos” in the top
navigation bar, Browse by Episodes, and select from the current season.

The most current seasons of America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country are
available to all viewers. If you want access to expired content from all

WHAT IS AMERICA'S TEST KITCHEN ONLINE COOKING SCHOOL?

Our Cooking School is designed to help cooks of all levels master a variety of
cooking techniques from anywhere and at any time. Our interactive online cooking
tools help teach cooking concepts and test your understanding of these concepts.
Courses and lessons vary in duration, and you can spend as much or as little
time as you’d like with a course. There is no set schedule and no limit to how
many courses you can take at any time. Preview our course catalog here.

Most courses and lessons don't require specialized kitchen equipment, and each
course clearly outlines the tools and equipment that you will need.

We don’t currently offer grades for the courses, and there are no prerequisites
to sign up. If you sign up for instructor access, you'll receive thorough
feedback from your instructor, and he or she will work to help you improve your
craft in the kitchen. The Online Cooking School also has content quizzes after

America’s Test Kitchen is no longer just for adults! We created America’s Test
Kitchen Kids because we wanted to inspire a new generation of empowered cooks,
