COWGIRL CONFIDENT EVENTS

CCF will be holding our third hands-on Ladies’ Learning Event on Saturday, April
27th & /or Sunday, April 28th, titled Cowgirl’s Guide to Confidence: Empowering
Women in Cattle Management. FarmHer’s Market vendor opportunities available for
instructors and participants. We have teamed up with an esteemed panel of
instructors to bring you a fun, education-filled day of hands-on experience
working cattle. Instructors include Dr. Blalock of Fairland Veterinary Hospital,
Dr. Mindy Davis of Dr. Mindy’s Veterinary Service, OSU Extension, Oklahoma
Miniature Lovable Livestock, Cupcake Cattle Company, Manley Cattle Co., Webb
Cattle Company, Little Lucky Cattle Co., Almost Home Livestock Transport, Lone
Elm Cattle Co. and 2/D Ranch!

Our goal is to empower women in cattle management, encouraging friendships with
likeminded ladies, awe well as building confidence and skills along the way.
This event is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience, ask
questions, and learn from industry professionals.Our event offers a variety of
demonstrations, including how to move cattle, back up a trailer, operate a
chute, load cattle, and halter break. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn
how to pull a calf with OSU Extension’s cow birthing simulator, about basic
vaccination, common illnesses, buying/selling tips tricks, AI best practices,
herd health, body conformation and more!

Registration is now open and limited to 60, so we can rotate through the
sessions in groups of 10. Three packages available from $85-$150.

JEREMY & KIM CLAYTON

Clayton Corner Farm is ran by Jeremy & Kim Clayton. In addition to raising
Scottish Highland cattle, CCF holds Cowgirl Conident Events and is a dealer for
IDEXX Livestock Testing.


SCOTTISH HIGHLAND CATTLE

Located in NE Oklahoma, Clayton Corner Farm raises Scottish Highland and
Highland/Belted Galloway Cross Cattle.
