I’m a storyteller who thrives within the hidden realms of imagination, where the
shy and introverted dissolve into a vibrant creator. Writing isn’t just a craft
for me; it’s a sanctuary where I give life to characters and worlds that emerge
from my experiences and dreams.

Life hasn’t been a smooth path for me. I’ve navigated personal trauma that often
felt insurmountable. Yet, within the tapestry of storytelling, I found my
solace: roleplay became my therapy, a transformative stage where I could
confront and conquer my pain. Through the characters I embodied and the tales I
crafted, I discovered my own resilience and the power to rewrite my narrative
until it resonated with victory.

From this cathartic journey emerged the genesis of my magnum opus. The concept
of my 35-issue series germinated from the depths of healing. It’s a testament to
the battles I’ve fought and the victories I’ve embraced.

The vibrant hues of my story — the deep blues and regal purples — are an ode to
my grandmother and me. Her affinity for blue intertwined with my passion for
purple lay the foundational colors that infuse life into every page. Alongside
these, the inclusion of opulent golds and the soft, ethereal textures of ivory
stones and marble reflect our shared love for the finer things in life.

Rooted in my grandmother’s teachings of modesty and inspired by the splendor of
regions like Texas and Lake Charles, Louisiana, my narrative pulsates with the
essence of French royalty and impassioned heritage. This heritage took an
unexpected turn when I unearthed my maternal lineage, tracing it back to the
shores of Nigeria. A revelation, as my grandmother’s lineage held a secret: her
father, abandoned as an infant, was rescued by an Indigenous woman and embraced
as part of the Cherokee and Blackfoot community. This miraculous intervention
shaped our family’s existence, a thread that, if severed, would have erased my
presence from this world.

I yearn to share this intricate patchwork of my heritage and history. It’s a
homage to the unknown saviors, the resilience ingrained in our roots, and the
unexplored depths of my Nigerian lineage, which I hope to bring to life through
the evolving artwork of my future creations. My story is not just a comic
series; it’s a celebration of ancestry, a testament to the strength woven into
my lineage, and an ever-expanding voyage into the intricate tapestry of my
truth. Join me in unraveling this saga, where each issue is a revelation and
every page a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
