ABOUT

Ugly Bitches is a collection of GAN generated dolls who are ugly inside and out.
Trained on images of over a thousand contemporary and vintage dolls, each one
was randomly paired with a comment sourced from a female influencer’s Instagram
and altered by the artists to replace “beauty” adjectives with “ugly” and
feminine nouns, such as “woman” with “bitch.” Finally, each of the dolls pose in
front of one of thirty-two unique Dall-E backgrounds generated based on popular
influencer destinations. Warning: These Ugly Bitches don’t attempt to reclaim,
empower, or celebrate... they’re just being themselves.

THE COLLECTION

Ugly Bitches is a collection of 500 NFTs. Each contains one unique GAN generated
doll, one unique sourced Instagram comment (adapted for ugliness) and one of 32
Dall-e generated backgrounds. Seventy-five NFTs will be reserved for the team
and VIPs.

Ugly Bitches minted out on January 27, 2023 at 10am PT during the allow list

TEAM

Ann Hirsch (Lead artist and Co-founder) is an artist and culture jammer who went
viral on YouTube in 2008, infiltrated trashy VH1 reality television in 2010, and
has had her work shown at The New Museum, MIT, Whitechapel Gallery in London,
The Stedelijk Museum, and more. She is currently a TikTok NFT art critic for
Outland.

Maya Man (Lead artist and Co-founder) is an artist whose work focuses on
contemporary identity culture on the internet. She is the creator of Glance Back
and the Art Blocks curated collection FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT. She is currently
pursuing her MFA in media art at UCLA.

Golira (Web3 Developer) is an architect, artist, writer and developer who has
worked on numerous successful NFT projects including Allstarz and Bloomers.
