SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION



Short-term accommodation (STA) is an NDIS support previously known as respite.
Our STA service supports people with disabilities to have a short stay away from
their usual home, while providing planned respite for families caring for a
person with disability. Our service is flexible and designed to be responsive to
each family’s circumstances.

KINDRED means like minded people with common beliefs and attitudes with the same
end goal in sight. It is simple, we aim to work with you but alongside you. In
collaboration with you, to support you to meet your NDIS goals whilst in short
term accommodation or respite. Whether that is learning how to cook, engaging in
community participation, joining in with fellow participants in social settings
and gatherings whilst staying at Kindred Retreat.
