With a towering height of 182 meters (597 feet), the Statue of Unity in
Gujarat, India is the world’s tallest statue. We were charged with the task
of safely and efficiently moving thousands of daily visitors to the
landmark’s viewing gallery and completing the installation of high-rise
elevators in a record timeline of 28 days. Accomplishing this feat of
engineering required advanced innovation, planning, and collaboration. Our
team installed two SkyRise elevators that travel at speeds of 4 meters per
second. Taking approx. 35 seconds to rise from the statue’s Museum to its
viewing gallery, the elevators deliver a seamless and safe experience for

The HAJJ pilgrimage is one of the greatest mass gatherings in the world, and
we’re honored to play a role in successfully moving 1,800,000 passengers
within a 168 hour time period. Our 229 units, including 152 elevators and 77
escalators, at 9 stations of the Mashaer Metro Train help make this
pilgrimage possible. Congratulations to our Otis Europe, Middle East & Africa
colleagues in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a successful HAJJ standby

As the tallest building in one of Shanghai’s most bustling business
districts, it’s no wonder the New Bund Center needed to ensure it could
reliably and efficiently transport visitors around the building. We answered
the call with digital mobility solutions and services that use smart

Our colleagues are making great strides helping to advance sustainability
initiatives at our Spain factories and make progress towards our #ESG goals
to achieve a 50% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions, reach carbon neutrality
for factory electricity by 2030, and achieve 100% eligibility for
zero-waste-to-landfill certification for all our factories by 2025. Our
newest facility, in San Sebastian, is leading the way and just became the
first LEED Platinum certified factory in Spain. All three of our Spain
factories, in San Sebastian, Vigo, and Madrid, have installed solar panels
and recently earned zero-waste-to-landfill certifications. #MadeToMoveYou

Otis Electric Engineer Zhiyuan D. is accelerating digitalization by passing
on his knowledge to the next generation of #STEM leaders. For several years,
he has been #volunteering at a local vocational school in China to train
teachers and teach students about elevator installation and digitalization
technology. “Working in this industry for more than a decade, my experience

reach 500,000 volunteer hours by 2030. Otis colleagues like Coulette L.,
