No, however you can earn $50 for setting up a qualifying direct deposit to your

I am a joint owner on a family member’s account. Would I qualify for the bonus
if I open a new account for myself?

Yes, as long as you are not the primary owner on any other checking account, you
may qualify for a new account that meets all requirements. (*)

Can I earn the $50 bonus for adding a new direct deposit to my existing checking
that is already receiving a direct deposit from another source?

No, only existing checking accounts with no direct deposit in the last 90 days
will be eligible to receive a bonus. (*)

accounts subject to eligibility and approval requirements. A $15 lifetime
membership fee is required with a $1 deposit to open your membership account and
