afternoon. Conal Keaney and James Madden starred  for the Dubs. Four Dubs were
named on the team of  the week and Conal is a contender for Hurler of….
Conditions at HQ were damp and cold…. The Ballyboden and the Thomas Davis junior
hurlers stood in silence for one minute before their championship match to
honour and remember the men and women of the rising.

neighbours turned out to be a very one-sided affair. Playing against a stiff

Wednesday, 15th May Result: 1 23 to 1 11 Ballyboden played Scoil UÍ Chonaill  in
the next  phase of the senior B hurling championship round robin series and
recorded a very fine win over Scoil Uí Chonaill at their club grounds in
Clontarf. Result: 0 14 to 0 11 The main question as we walked up to the back
pitch in Russell Park was whether to bring the jackets or risk it. Those that
took the safe option were well rewarded as a strong breeze blew across the pitch
for this Division 1 AHL encounter between Ballyboden and…. After a despairing
and chastening start Ballyboden eventually raised their game and made what
looked….

After a four way tie in the league, this hard working team of girls, recorded an
impressive semi-final play-off win over Man O War last Saturday. All support
welcome.

Our senior A ladies were brought back down to earth on Wednesday when they were
beaten comprehensively by an excellent Kilmacud Crokes team on a score line of
1. The first half started brightly enough and we had an excellent goal chance
after 10 mins. Last Saturday morning in Sancta Maria, Ballyboden under 9
footballers sections 1 and 3 took on their Kilmacud Crokes counterparts.
