ABOUT LONSDALE ENERGY

Lonsdale Energy is the City of North Vancouver’s local energy provider for
reliable, efficient and competitively priced space heating, domestic hot water
and cooling. As one of the largest district energy systems in Metro Vancouver,
we proudly serve one in four City residents.

 We’re working on several initiatives to reduce carbon emissions from the
district energy system, with the aim to meet and exceed our greenhouse gas
emission targets of: 

 * * 40% district energy supplied by low-carbon energy technologies by 2027
   * 60% district energy sales supplied by low-carbon energy technologies by
     2030
   * 80% carbon emission reduction (from 2007 emission levels) by 2040, and
   * Net-zero emissions by 2050.
