MENTORSHIP AND MASTERCLASSES

We will be organising creative workshops and mentoring sessions with industry
professionals and school teachers.

Subjects include: scriptwriting, storyboarding, illustration, acting, directing,
producing, production management, editing, lighting, rigging, sound, wardrobe,
hair, make-up…

FILM ON THE FLY COMPETITION

Filmmakers can make a short film of and during the festival day. There will be
an award for Film Of Festival Day – films can be submitted up to two weeks after
festival day, judged and the winner notified.

FILM MAKERS: HERVEY BAY FILM FESTIVAL IS CALLING FOR ENTRIES IN FEATURE FICTION,
FEATURE DOCUMENTARY AND SHORT FILMS MADE IN AUSTRALIA AND INTERNATIONALLY.

SCRIPT WRITERS: SUBMIT YOUR SCRIPT FOR SHORT FILMS, FEATURE FILMS AND SERIES.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS TO A RANGE OF GENRES.

Submission Fees: Students $15AUD ($10.28USD).
Non-Students submission fees start at $20AUD, rising as we near submission
deadline – 6 September 2024.

Social Media production services to producers, directors, writers, new
filmmakers, theatre companies, actors, musicians, bands, schools, charities,
businesses – large and small…

WHAT’S YOUR IDEA?

Whether your campaign budget is small, large, or something in-between, we will
make your project interesting and memorable. We will assist you during the
production process while you focus on what’s most important – seeing through
your vision. We can also help you develop an idea from scratch. A 10 minute
conversation is all it takes for us to begin developing your objectives.

Consultation & Concept
We understand your needs through your brief, and develop the concept according
to budget. We provide you with a treatment of your story and visual direction.
Our copywriters turn the outline into a script.

Pre-Production
When you approve the concept we begin pre-production. We develop scripts,
storyboards, shot lists, schedules, cast talent… We select crew, locations and
equipment.

Production
We film and record the creative vision with our experienced crews, who work
creatively to attain high-quality content – efficiently to time and budget.

Post-Production
The vision comes together during post-production adhering to schedule and the
