Could the authors help me understand what is going on here?

Signals outlined in pink and red in Figure 2F and Figure 3D appear unexpectedly
similar. Upper panel is published figure, lower panel is false color image using
ImageJ. Arrows identify possible splices (maroon, cyan, teal, purple and green).

Are the original uncropped scans available?

Perhaps another issue in Figure 8D. In this case there appears to be a
differential splice in the upper panel. Again, do the authors have the original
data?

There may be other similar issues in this paper, but I will await a response
from the authors on the availability of the data for review.
