Register your team for the Southwest Boys Classic and learn more about the
format of our qualifier.

We are aware of the winter storm coming this weekend and all other warnings
currently set in place. However, we currently have no plans to cancel the event.
We will continue to monitor the conditions overnight and will let you know if
anything changes. Please reach out to the
eventstaff@austinsportscenter.com*protected email* if you have any travel
complications or concerns making to your morning games, our staff will work to
accommodate your players and families. We will not penalize teams who are late
in the morning due to the weather. Please make sure to stay safe during your
travels and warm during this time!

Division Breakdown Expand

Open Divisions 
 
The goal of the Open divisions at the BJNC is to identify the best team in the
country through rigorous competition in a particular age classification from
among the top 40 (36 for 14s and 15s) teams. The Open divisions of the Bid
Tournaments are designed to identify and select those top teams. 
 
To compete in an Open division of the BJNC, all teams, including foreign
federation teams, must either win a bid at a Bid Tournament or be awarded a bid
through the Open at-large bid process. 
 
USA Divisions* 
 
The USA division is only being offered in the 16-18 age classifications. In its
inaugural season, the USA division’s primary goal will be to help create more
manageable field sizes between the Club and USA divisions at the BJNC. Bid
Tournaments are voluntarily running USA divisions to help introduce the division
to the BJNC. 
 
To compete in an USA division of the BJNC, all teams, including foreign
federation teams, must win a bid at a Bid Tournament. 

Team Check-In Expand

Team check-in will be available ONLINE only via AES. All teams must check-in
prior to their first match.

How to Check In
Check-in electronically through AES following these steps:

 * Go to "My Events" - Select Event Name
 * Click on "My Teams"
 * Click "Check-in" (to verify or make changes to your roster, scroll to the
   bottom and click "verify roster")
 * Enter Credentials - Name and Phone Number
 * Click "Check-in"

Miss online check-in or need to make a change after submitting? Please bring a
paper copy of the team's AES roster to the championship desk before your first
scheduled match.

Roster Requirements
A completed team roster will have the following:

 * Player’s name
 * Jersey number
 * Verified USAV numbers
 * All coaches must have verified and current USAV membership, IMPACT
   certification and SafeSport in order to sit on the bench

Early wristbands pick up will take place at the Austin Convention Center on
Thursday, February 3rd, from 5:30p-8p. Please arrive at the entrance of Hall 4
to receive your wristband and skip the line on Friday!


FIRST POINT COLLEGIATE CHALLENGE

Featuring reigning National Champion Hawai'i, two-time national champion
Stanford, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Queens University of Charlotte.

During the Southwest Boys Classic, men's college volleyball will be played for
the first time ever in the state of Texas! Coaches and athletes at the SBC
receive discounted tickets to the matches. All SBC teams have morning waves, so
you'll be free to watch every afternoon match of the #FPCC22!

Athletes and coaches will use their 11-digit AES team code to access discounts.

THE SOUTHWEST BOYS CLASSIC BID TOURNAMENT IS A STAY TO PLAY EVENT. ALL TEAMS
OUTSIDE THE 60-MILE RADIUS OF THE PLAYING VENUE ARE REQUIRED TO BOOK AT LEAST 5
ROOMS FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE EVENT WITH EM2 HOUSING.

Important Dates Expand

12/15/2021: Reservations open at 8am CST

1/14/2022 : EM2 Housing will accept changes and cancellations up until this
date. After this date, all changes and cancellations must go through the hotel
directly and applicable charges may be assessed by the hotel. Please wait until
you receive your confirmation number before contacting the hotel.


1/19/2022 : If you missed the deadline for housing, teams will need to use this
link to book hotels.

University Athlete is a communication tool between collegiate coaches and
prospective student athletes. This service allows for Athletes to input their
information for college coaches to easily evaluate. University Athletes allows
coaches to tap into this database using their iPhone, Android, or Blackberry
devices.
