SAFETY PRECAUTIONS – COVID-19 MITIGATION

To continue to provide the security you require we are immediately adopting the
following procedures:

Mobile Service Calls

Perhaps now is the time to reinforce your doors and windows, while you’re in a
‘lock-down’ mode. After communicating by phone, our technician will arrive and
immediately put on a new set of protection gloves (for each client). When
finished with their work they will sanitize the surfaces they have come in
contact with.

Staff will also follow additional applicable procedures as recommended by the
CDC.

Shop Visits – Drive-Up Service

Now is not the time to be stranded because you’ve lost the only key you have.
After communicating by phone, we will retrieve and deliver auto keys and fobs to
your car window, similar to a food pick-up service. Staff will follow applicable
procedures as recommended by CDC.

Don’t worry – in either case, we can maintain the minimum six-foot personal
separation as suggested by the CDC

Sandy Springs Locksmith® is a Local full service professional locksmith company
with trained technicians who are bonded employees of long standing, and with a
fleet of our own vans. Unlike most locksmiths in Atlanta, you may find in print
or online directories, we are not a mere phone number without a real listed
address.

In 2006 we were bought by Atlanta security expert, Burt Kolker and his wife,
Susan.  Keeping in the family business tradition.

At Sandy Springs Locksmith in Atlanta, under most conditions, including
emergency lockout services, our plan is to have one of our techs answer the
phone 24/7. So if you get locked out late at night or on a dark road, or need
our other security services, you don't need to add the challenges of an operator
or voice menu to add to your anxiety.

Our showroom is near the corner of Roswell Road on Hammond Drive, in front of
Whole Foods. It's not big and fancy but it is pleasant.

Beware - Several unscrupulous companies have cloned our name but not our number.
Some even list a phony local address that looks like ours. These are usually out
of state scammers set up to deceive customers. Why chose a business that
purposely manipulates their listings to make it seem that they are a local
neighborhood business?

Pricing - Please don't be fooled by "bait & switch" or "starting from" pricing
model.  We will furnish a guaranteed price on the phone, in the shop, or in the
field in writing (if requested) before we perform your work.  Some tasks may
require to be billed by the hour and we will document that in writing in advance
as well.


BURTON S. KOLKER, PRESIDENT

Burt's work at Ackerman included the design of electronic detection alarms and
video surveillance systems for residential and commercial clients with an
emphasis on high security requirements for residences.  Since his purchase of
Sandy Springs Locksmith, Burt has continued to focus on residential clients
providing physical security solutions that were not available to him before.
 His detailed security surveys usually result in the implementation of layered
security options that include high security locks for windows & doors, door &
frame reinforcement systems, window security film for glass breakage protection,
and security screens (which stop or significantly slow down most entry
attempts).  The design and installation of attack and bullet resistant doors,
safes and panic rooms are also within his scope of work.
