DEVIN C.

Software Development Engineer

Devin came to Seattle from Columbus, Ohio soon after graduating college. Having
a background in hard sciences and finance gives him a diverse perspective and
allows him to focus on delivering customer obsessed solutions. Shortly after
joining Amazon, Devin was able to contribute to several high-impact computer
vision projects with his team. Devin is now working on streamlining the process
to train machine learning models.  

Devin’s favorite part about Amazon is the level of autonomy that is given to
employees. “Being at Amazon is really all about what you make of it. You are the
one in control of your career here.” 

Growing up in the Midwest, he was always immersed in the arts and performed in
choirs, theatre groups, and concert symphonies. His experience in music has
instilled a drive to constantly self-improve and strive for excellence in his
personal and professional life. At home, he loves cooking spicy foods, cruising
on his longboard, and is an ardent Virtual Reality gamer.
