CONTRAPTIONS SHOULDN'T TAKE DAMAGE FROM ROTTING ENEMIES

When my tinkerer gets an artifact for +1 damage to my attacks, my contraptions
don't get the bonus, so why is it that when my contraptions deal the damage, I
