What is creativity? How to be creative? Sharon worked on a documentary about
creativity. Let see what she discovered. Sharon grew up in Hong Kong, studied
film in Los Angeles, directed commercials in Beijing, while city-hopping around
Asia, shooting documentaries and creating new media projects. Her current
project, 'Creativity is', evolved from a short documentary to a series of
experiential screenings that is now becoming a new media interactive online
experience. Her other immersive media project, 'MADE', has recently been
selected for the 2017 Sheffield Documentary Festival in Britain as well as

Official description- The Castle of Magical Dreams is brought to life once
again, with the debut of “Momentous” in mid-June, 2022 - a magical nighttime
spectacular that will take guests on a heartwarming journey of life through the
lens of Disney stories and multimedia elements, including projection mapping,
water projections, theatrical lighting, lasers, choreographed water fountains,

Gary Chang has lived in the same 32 square meters (344 square feet) for nearly
his entire life. Nearly 40 years ago, he moved into the tiny apartment with not
only his parents and 3 younger sisters, but they rented a room to a tenant.
During his childhood the space was divided into several small rooms- kitchen,
bathrooms and 3 bedrooms (Chang slept on the couch). In 1988 when his family
moved out (into something bigger), Chang bought the place from the landlord for
$45,000 and began his experiments in small space design. Today, at first glance,
the small space appears a fairly average open studio, but with pulls on handles,
walls slide across steel tracks, Chang can have a "maximum kitchen", a guest
bedroom, a library, dining room, laundry-room and even a spa: one walls slides
to reveal an extra-large Duravit bathtub. His home is tricked out with a
wall-sized movie screen, a shower with color therapy and massage that doubles as
a steam room, but Chang argues that the moving walls are fairly low-tech. And
while he can control his appliances with his smartphone he usually prefers the
manual option. Chang is now an architect (Edge Design) with a focus on

Kong, SmartZendo apartment was designed to bring Zen ideas into a small home. In
redesigning the home, architect Patrick Lam converted a chaotic, awkward space
into a mindful experience of modern living, using Zen’s focus to draw the
scenery outside into the home. Creating an open living area allowed the addition
of a raised floor, containing additional storage hidden by hatches, as well as a
raisable coffee table embedded in the floor. This also allowed the relocation of
the kitchen from an irregularly shaped room into the living area, and the
addition of a series of timber panels that can divide the living space into a
sleeping area. Smart hardware and appliances complete the home, reducing clutter
and encouraging dual purpose use of furniture and cabinetry throughout.

In 2009 the site was listed as one of eight projects under ‘Conserving Central.’
Architecturally, it represents the typical modern style commonly found in the
post-Second World War period, which is characterised by a functional and
pragmatic approach on elevations and interior layout, with minimum decoration
and spatial articulation. Renamed as PMQ, the site is now a hub for design and
creative industries. Its buildings have been retained, reinforced, refurbished
and upgraded for new uses. Residential units have been converted into design
studios and shops, offices for creative enterprises and lodging for visiting
designers. The top floor of Block B is now a roof-top restaurant with a
mezzanine floor. Almost 100 design and creative enterprises are stationed in
PMQ. Around half the tenants are in the fashion and household product design
sectors with the rest in creative design categories such as fashion accessories,
food, furniture, jewellery and watches, design services and design galleries.
Exhibition space and event facilities are also available.

HONG KONG

Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative
Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the
southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong
Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour. It has a land area of
1104 km2 and shares its northern border with Guangdong Province of Mainland
China. With around 7.2 million inhabitants of various nationalities, Hong Kong
is one of the world's most densely populated metropolises.

After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the
perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and
a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong remained under
British control for about a century until the Second World War, when Japan
occupied the colony from December 1941 to August 1945. After the Surrender of
Japan, the British resumed control. In the 1980s, negotiations between the
United Kingdom and the China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint
Declaration, which provided for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong on 30
June 1997. The territory became a special administrative region of China with a
high degree of autonomy on 1 July 1997 under the principle of one country, two
systems. Disputes over the perceived misapplication of this principle have
contributed to popular protests, including the 2014 Umbrella Revolution.

CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED

Creative Technology Ltd. is a Singapore-based global company headquartered in
Jurong East, Singapore. The principal activities of the company and its
subsidiaries consist of the design, manufacture and distribution of digitized
sound and video boards, computers and related multimedia, and personal digital
entertainment products.

It also partners with mainboard manufacturers and laptop brands to embed its
Sound Blaster technology on their products.

HISTORY

The firm began as a computer repair shop, where Sim Wong Hoo developed an add-on
memory board for the Apple II computer. Later, they started creating customized
PCs adapted in Chinese. A part of this design included enhanced audio
capabilities, so that the device could produce speech and melodies. The success
of this audio interface led to the development of a standalone sound card.

In 1987, they released a 12-voice sound generator sound card for the IBM PC
architecture, the Creative Music System (C/MS), featuring two Philips SAA1099
chips. Sim personally went from Singapore to Silicon Valley and managed to get
RadioShack's Tandy division to market the product. The card was, however,
unsuccessful and lost to AdLib. Learning from this, Creative produced the first
Sound Blaster, which included the prior CM/S hardware but also incorporated the
Yamaha YM3812 chip (also known as OPL2) that was found on the AdLib card, as
well as adding a component for playing and recording digital samples. The firm
used aggressive marketing strategies, from calling the card a "stereo" component
(only the C/MS chips were capable of stereo, not the complete product) to
calling the sound producing micro-controller a "DSP" (for "digital sound
processor"), hoping to associate the product with a digital signal processor
(the DSP could encode/decode ADPCM realtime, but otherwise had no other DSP-like
qualities).

CREATIVE (SONG)

"Creative" was released in November 2008 as the third single from Leon Jackson's
debut album Right Now. To promote the track Jackson appeared on the official BBC
Children in Need 2008 show performing the song as an "exclusive" as this was the
first time Jackson had performed the track. The song went onto debut at number
94 on the UK Singles Charts.

RELEASE AND PROMOTION

The song was released in November 2008 as a digital download only through Syco
and Sony BMG. To promote the song, Jackson appeared on the 2008 series of
Children in Need where he performed the song in London.

MUSIC VIDEO

The music video for "Creative" shows Jackson performing the song in front of a
big band. Also, in the video Jackson is trying to impress a female which
features in the video. Throughout the video the female does not pay much
attention to Jackson but however towards the end of the video the female seems
to pay slight attention to Jackson.

CRITICAL RECEPTION

The BBC said:

Creative is a sassy, rumba-rhythmed number where Leon soars above, hinting at
his prowess in the boudoir, this is easily the most memorable original track
here.

Hong Kong is facing another weekend of protests by the pro-democracy
movement, and the situation is growing increasingly tense. There's
uncertainty about possible Chinese plans to quell the unrest. A large force
of armored vehicles has been assembled in Shenzhen, just across the border
with Hong Kong and the rhetoric is ramping up. Chinese state media is
condemning the protesters' earlier actions as "the beginning of terrorism."
DW correspondent Charlotte Chelsom-Pill is covering the protests in Hong
Kong. As she reports now, the government's opponents are becoming ever more

In 2009 the site was listed as one of eight projects under ‘Conserving
Central.’ Architecturally, it represents the typical modern style commonly
found in the post-Second World War period, which is characterised by a
functional and pragmatic approach on elevations and interior layout, with
minimum decoration and spatial articulation. Renamed as PMQ, the site is now
a hub for design and creative industries. Its buildings have been retained,
reinforced, refurbished and upgraded for new uses. Residential units have
been converted into design studios and shops, offices for creative
enterprises and lodging for visiting designers. The top floor of Block B is
now a roof-top restaurant with a mezzanine floor. Almost 100 design and
