LITERATURE TEXT

"Perfect Half" by David S. Clark
<key for first draph: () = alternate idea ([]) = alternate idea in alt.
idea.also {}= it would take the last thing behind it lol this is sorta
messed.... Thank you lol >

As i grew,
my imagination flew,
as did my love for you,
although you never knew,
I didn't know you till later,
my friend's were always like "TAKE HER!!!".

But I loved the time we shared,
although you seemed distant,
none of the others ever compared,
so our time remained consistent.

Looking back upon these memories,
of joy and pain,
another lover not noticed in the centuries,
my feelings cannot be contained.

All the times I acted dumb,
my love slowed my mind,
my soul became more and more numb,
as though there was a bend in time.

All the times i was blamed for lying,
accused of stealing,
apart of me was dying,
it tore apart my feeling.

But it was my perfect half that helped me through,
from the moment I saw you,
I fell in love "No wonder, who knew?",
as we began to talk I knew you were cool.

I wanted you to see "the real me",
not the image I create,
for I knew true love was meant to be,
I even resisted when they would temptate.

I was subtle so you could tell,
cute little comments so on one would understand,
but I guess you cant interpret subtly well,
so went my plan.

Your blank-faced smile changed my jokes to tears,
for my pain is more than I can bear,
so I guess u didnt care,
a so-called "friend".
my head seemed like it was going to tear,
don't you have better things to tend?

So is this how it ends?
no we still have much father to go,
I have much more to send,
there are much harder blows.

( <As his crimson tears ran down my face,
my mouth stained from all the fears,
once a good child now a mental case,
here lie the remants of that "loved" faggot queer.
{here lie the remeants of the child in the shattered mirror}

The knife by my side,
your blood-stained picture down on the floor,
I wanted to pick it up but my body seems to bide,
listening to the screams on the other side of the door.

As I hear your voice my breathing quickens,
my body seems to poise,
as this air thickens,
your deafening noise....

I awake on a bed,
clad in white,
only color left is red,
" oh my god, are you alright?"

She remained by my side,
my body diminished,
"whoo I thought you had died!" ,
[apparently the case was i was mugged,
and the murder was slaughter, it helped the endorphins did,
his death had taught her?
"It taught me that I must be rid."

I tried to reply but my pouth remained shut,
maybe my punishment is my voice being cut,
I'm sorry for the things done now,>
my mind is nearly finished,
"Lucky for you the police were near by!"

The doctors came rushed me inside,
as the doors swong slowly inside my head,
she screamed at them to let her inside although denied,
and body went into the zone of which few wish to tread.

Mind in a daze,
body half alseep,
and you are where my mind begins to gaze,
you are the only thing of which thought's my mind can keep... )
