Established in 2003, Portland Support Computer Repair provides local computer
repair service and support for all brands of computers, laptops, and Apple
computers at our conveniently located computer repair shop. We are located
between Beaverton and Portland in the small community of West Slope (SW Canyon
Lane by SW 87th avenue and Canyon Road). We are minutes away from downtown

We offer free computer repair diagnostics in our shop. Same day computer repair
service may be available depending on the nature of the issue. If the resolution
involves ordering parts there may be shipping time involved, and customers can
opt for overnight shipping to expedite a job. Otherwise we strive to complete
diagnostics within 24 - 48 hours.

As our fifteen year anniversary approaches, we would like to extend our

"About 6 months ago, my computer had beer spilled on it. I immediately shut it
down and did everything I could to dry it out but it was a goner. I had put off
taking it in and borrowed a friend's. I did some research and made some phone
calls. I was most impressed with Portland Support Computer Repair's response to
my phone call. They were very professional but also very personable in trying to
figure out my problem and had no problem discussing the problem. They were
patient and very kind and understanding. I eventually brought it in along with
my friend's that also had beer spilled on it (I know but we're in Portland, come
on) and the keyboard was toast and we were relying on a USB keyboard. We weren't
about to take our computers into the Apple computer repair store because their
charges are outrageous. Hers was a MacBook Pro and to install the keyboard
proved to be difficult as it feeds from the bottom as opposed to mine (the basic
MacBook that stopped being manufactured in 2009 as it was replaced by the
inferior (in my opinion) MacBook air, but I digress). Her computer with parts
and labor came out to approximately $200 bucks. I found this very reasonable
considering when she got it back it was (and I am not exaggerating) better than
new. It was clean and in pristine condition. Mine came out about a week later
since the part I got on eBay wasn't suitable. I got it back today and am leaving
a review with it as I type. Mine had a hard drive replacement and a keyboard
replacement as well. Mine came out to 300 bucks and works great. Another great
thing about their business is they give you the old parts to show you the damage
so that you have it to look at rather than tossing it and they recycle all their
parts that they can. I was very pleased to support a good honest and local
business. I will definitely be back if I need assistance again and I highly
recommend their services. Dave is a computer genius for real (not some Apple
"genius" as they are so ineptly labeled) having spent more than 40 years in the
computer industry. That's highly impressive and he should be getting paid more.
He is humble and knowledgeable and a very admirable businessman. A Working class
