A few weeks ago, a mother Killdeer bird made her nest on the grounds between the
Paris Manufacturing Plant and our Corporate Office. We’ve learned that Killdeer
birds will often make their nests in rocks to hide their eggs in plain site from
predators. After setting up a barrier of sorts to protect the nest from

Several NAL Team Members participated in the Ben Myers Memorial Golf Outing in
honor of our coworker and friend. Ben joined NAL as a Logistics Planner in
November of 2021 where his mother Denise Titzer works as a Purchasing
Coordinator. Ben lost his life in a tragic car accident earlier this year and is
greatly missed by all of us at NAL who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Congratulations to our Mattoon Biggest Losers, Teresa Stewart, first shift
operator, and Dennis Myers, first shift material handler. In 10 weeks, 12
participants from the Mattoon plant lost a total of 113 pounds. Teresa and
