Jacob Snyder has been named dean of students at Ben Franklin Elementary School and Jacob Kienzle has been named dean of students at Discovery Middle School. All FPS families must verify family information and complete/update registration forms PRIOR TO their child(ren) attending back-to-school sessions in August. Register Co-Curricular Meetings The annual parent-student co-curricular meeting is required of all students participating in all co-curricular activities (i.e. athletics, drama, music etc.). All students are required to attend an in-person meeting when they are new to a building, typically once in middle school and once in high school. With an instructional model built on self-paced learning, flexible scheduling, technology integration, STEM, and project-based learning, students determine their own educational path with guidance from educators. SDA is best-suited for independent learners who benefit from in-person contact. Registration is now open for students in grades 6-8 in fall 2024! Learn More Summer Food Program North Dakota is launching Summer EBT, a new grocery benefits program that provides $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy groceries while school is out. Most families will get these benefits automatically, but some may need to apply. The new program is in addition to free summer meal sites in their communities. Households already participating in SNAP, FDPIR, or TANF, will be automatically enrolled in the Summer EBT program. Households not automatically enrolled may be eligible, Apply now! Apply!
