What is Live in care?

Live in care or 24 hour care at home is when a  professional carer or companion
moves into your house to care for your or your loved ones 24/7, helping your
with personal care and daily support. Carer will live in for a two to three
weeks before taking two or three weeks off. A live-in carer wil encourage
independent.

How does live in care works?

A caregiver or live-in carer moves into services user’s house, where she or he
will have own private room. Every client and their care package is deferent but
normally carer works three hours in the morning, three hours in the afternoon
and four hour in the evening, working an average of nine to ten-hours a day. All
these other times carer will need to be on standby to help the client if needed.
Caregivers will also have a two-hour break every day and they will be expected
to rest through the night.

How much is live in care cost?

Live in care cost is dependent on the amount of care services required and
number of carers required. A rough guide would be in the range of £699.00 to

How do you monitor your live in carers?

All Safehands Carers uses an app which provide real time information to our
offices. We are able to see everyone carers’ notes as they are working.

How do I arrange 24 hour care at home for myself or a family member?

How quickly can I sign up for live in care services?

We can offer services as soon as you call us. Some of our clients, for instance,
wish to start in a week’s time – whatever the schedule, we are ready to

How long does my designated carer stay?

Your main caregiver will normal stay for three to four weeks before they take a
b long as you wish or require – you can come to an agreement with your carer. If
you decide to have a new carer before the agreed time expiries, please call our
office and we will be glad to offer assistance. Office hours are weekdays, 9:00
a.m., to 5:00 p.m. We also offer a 24/7 emergency hotline.
