THE KYVE NETWORK


DECENTRALISED UPLOADERS/VALIDATORS

The network is powered by decentralised uploaders and validators. These nodes
reside in pools, each pool focusing on archiving a specific data stream.


DAO GOVERNANCE


COMMUNITY ORGANIZED DECISIONS

Nodes are incentivised by a unique staking system, which involves them locking
their $KYVE tokens while being active in the pool. Validators will vote on
whether the designated archiver is properly doing its job.

Pools are funded by $KYVE tokens, and anyone can fund these storage initiatives
by depositing tokens.

OVERVIEW

TOTAL FUNDS

The total amount of funds a pool has access to.

TOTAL STAKE

The total amount of stake which is staked in the pool.


FUNDERS

MAXIMUM FUNDERS

The maximum amount of funders a pool can have. Basically, this number determines
the available funding slots.

AVAILABLE FUNDING SLOTS

The number of funding slots which are still available. In order to claim a slot
someone has to fund more than the current minimum funding amount.

MINIMUM FUNDING AMOUNT

The minimum amount someone has to fund in order to claim a funding slot.


NODES

MAXIMUM VALIDATORS

The maximum amount of validators a pool can have. Basically, this number
determines the available validator slots.

AVAILABLE VALIDATOR SLOTS

The number of validator slots which are still available. In order to claim a
slot a node has to have a higher stake than the minimum staking amount.

MINIMUM STAKING AMOUNT

The minimum amount a node has to stake in order to claim a validator slot.
