A knowledge base server enabling people or agents to store and tightly interconnect their knowledge into a large knowledge base without having to agree on terminology or facts. Winner of the 2001 Asia-Pacific Oracle Queensland IT&T Awards for Excellence, Research and Development Category. On May 12th 2004, the Multi-Source Ontology (MSO) of WebKB-2 is adopted by the Standard Upper Ontology (SUO) working group as a material to study/re-use. * WebKB-1. A knowledge base server enabling the storage of knowledge in Web documents and its use for indexing and then retrieving any part of any Web document. Finalist of the 1999 Asia-Pacific Oracle Queensland IT&T Awards for Excellence, Intelligent Technologies Category. This work was supported by the Defense Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO). It was initiated at the University of Adelaide - Computer Sciences department from November 1996 to October 1997, and was completed in the KVO laboratory, School of Information Technology, Griffith University, from April 1998 to December 1999. * CGKAT. This work was completed at the INRIA, ACACIA Project, France, during my Ph.D. thesis, from January 1993 to October 1996.
