Be sure to measure your outdoor space to ensure the size and scale of your
pieces fit, with plenty of room for you and your guests to move around. For a
small porch or patio, consider pieces that maximize seating, like outdoor accent
chairs and ottomans rather than larger sofas and sectionals that could overwhelm
your space. For larger spaces, consider the function of the space (see above) so
you can select pieces that optimize your accommodations and enjoyment.

Use & Care: Outdoor Aluminum Furniture
To extend the life of your aluminum furniture, avoid direct contact with
chlorine or saltwater. If the product is near these substances, such as the
ocean or pool, we recommend weekly rinsing with water to remove any salt or
chlorine residue.
Aluminum furniture should be cleaned periodically using mild soap and lukewarm
water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Use & Care: Outdoor Performance Resin Wicker
To extend the life of your resin wicker furniture, avoid direct contact with
chlorine or saltwater. If the product is near these substances, such as the
ocean or pool, we recommend weekly rinsing with water to remove any salt or
chlorine residue.
Resin Wicker furniture should be cleaned periodically using mild soap and
lukewarm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
A high-quality outdoor furniture cover is recommended if you plan to leave your
furniture outdoors all year. Before placing covers on your furniture, clean with
mild soap and water as instructed above, and allow to completely dry. Trapped
dirt and moisture can cause mold and mildew to form. If you choose to move your
furniture indoors, make sure it is clean, dry, and stored in a dry environment.
Use & Care: Outdoor Stone Furniture
Trivets, coasters, and placemats are recommended for hot items and drinks. Do
not let water, rain or other liquids remain on the surface for prolonged
periods. Wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid placing sharp
or heavy objects on the surface. Wash periodically with a clean, damp cloth. If
needed, use a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid. Dust, vacuum with a brush
attachment, or use a soft bristled brush to remove debris from the natural
crevices. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials. The surface
may be re-sealed annually with Filastone Plus Eco sealer.
Use & Care: Outdoor Furniture Fabrics
Prepare a solution of one fourth cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use
a soft bristle brush to clean, allowing the cleaning solution to soak into the
fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry.
Mold and mildew stains
Mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances if not removed from the
fabric. To remove mold or mildew:
Prepare a solution of 1 cup of bleach and one fourth cup mild soap per gallon of
water. Spray on entire area and allow to soak into the fabric for 15 minutes.
Clean entire surface area with a sponge, clean towel or very soft bristle brush.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Air dry. For severe mold/mildew
growth, bleach quantities may be increased. It is best to clean the entire
surface area of the fabric to avoid water rings and stains.
For other stains, products such as Dawn, Resolve® or 303® Spot Cleaner are
applicable.
