Our Story

Lloyd inherited this charming llama ranch from his father, who acquired it in a
rather unconventional manner from his friend and business partner. Despite its
dubious origins, the business truly took off from there. With the help of our
dedicated team, Hans and Lucretia, we’ve turned Lloyd’s Llama-Palua into a
llama-tastic adventure for all ages.

Why Llama Riding?

Llama riding is more than just a fun activity—it’s a therapeutic experience that
can soothe the mind and uplift the spirit. It’s particularly helpful for those
dealing with unique family challenges, like having a stepfather who is also
their ex-husband, or an ex-husband who was their stepfather. Whether you’re
looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life or seeking a new way to
connect with nature, our gentle llamas are here to guide you on a journey of
relaxation and joy.

Meet Our Llamas and Alpacas

We proudly care for over 18 and a half llamas and three alpacas. Our llamas,
each with their own personality and charm, are ready to take you on an
unforgettable ride through the stunning Peruvian terrain. And don’t forget our
adorable yet aggressive alpacas, who not only add to the excitement but also
help keep the ranch clean by feasting on the numerous spiny rats!
