MORAL SHORT STORIES FOR KIDS

Stories with morals impart all-important life lessons to a child, which in turn
forms a strong foundation for them to respond to life situations. Eg: Handling
disappointment, being kind, etc. Moral stories can needn’t be serious, but they
can be funny at the same time help your child learn something.



Growing up, we can now realize the point of those moral stories and how they, in
a rather simple manner, taught us the difference between good and evil at such a
tender age. We, at Sapphire International School, believe that these stories lay
considerable influence on the kid’s ideas of righteousness and ethics. It goes
without saying that we would want these same ideals and values to be instilled
in our children, and thus, introducing them to such stories from an early age is
truly important. On that note, here’s discussing further on the ways through
which moral stories help build character in kids.



With all its intricate twists and turns, life can seem pretty confusing to our
young ones. While we certainly cannot offer them a manual to navigate the path
of life, we can definitely help build resilience in them that helps them go
through its ups and downs. Moral stories help in building the ethics and value
that aid in developing the spirit of righteousness among children.


Moral stories teach children the importance of remaining grounded and not
straying from the right path due to the lures of greed, envy, or pride. We
believe that it is instrumental in offering a value enriched environment to the
kids, the effects of which stays with them even when they grow up and find their
way in the world.


All the education and teachings that we offer to our children have the end goal
of preparing them for their future role in society. It is not just about the
educational degrees or the jobs because, at the end of the day, a highly
educated person who is a compulsive liar will only earn mistrust and disrespect
from the society. Through the stories, we teach them about the values that they
need to adhere to and the belief systems that make them a better person.


Childhood is an age when young minds are highly impressionable, and they are
constantly learning things from their surroundings. In such a scenario, we
believe it becomes even more important to tell them these moral stories that
help them understand the differences between right and wrong. It keeps them away
from falling prey to peer pressure or even picking up the wrong habits from
their surroundings.
