The very first SHADOW offer was launched in 2016 with the promise of allowing

computing company chaired by Octave Klaba, founder of OVHcloud, SHADOW is

partnership with Nextcloud, the global leader in open-source storage platforms.
Shadow Drive is a secure service, thanks to encrypted communications and data
hosting on servers operated in Europe by a European company with numerous

Like many young entrepreneurs, our co-founders lived for their passions: for
them, it was technology and video games.

As computer hardware became more and more expensive, they became interested in
cloud technology and came up with a concept: streaming a high-end Windows PC on
a low-powered laptop.

Cloud computing had existed for years, but the challenge here was much greater.
With this exciting project in mind, they gathered a small community of
passionate collaborators, knowing they could offer a new vision of what they
were deeply passionate about: new technologies and video games.

Today, the Shadow cloud computing service brings together tens of thousands of
users, with one of the most robust streaming technologies on the market.

Initially made for and by gamers, we aim, with our new offers, to provide
convincing alternatives for individuals and professionals. Now supported by
strong strategic partnerships, including OVHcloud and its global infrastructure,
Shadow intends to expand its ambitions.


Our Core Business Platform, launched in 2022, paves the way for scalability and
innovation, featuring an open-source API and preparing the ground for an even
