ABOUT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are two 6th floor one bedroom apartments next door to each other, they have been recently refurbished with new beds, aircon and kitchen equipment. There is a fully equipped kitchen with full oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. The apartments are bright and enjoy spectacular views of the sea and mountains. The terrace/balcony is a lovely place to sit and relax to enjoy the views. The area is very tranquil and a short distance from the coast, but close enough to enjoy all the amenities Fuengirola has to offer. With its many bars and restaurants and a 7km blue flag beach all of which are within easy reach via the local bus which runs 7 days a week. One of the recommended places to visit is the Bioparc, this is a natural zoo and costs around 20 euros a ticket. There is a seasonal waterpark and other activities such as crazy golf, go carting and disc golf. The local trains, buses and taxis are an easy way to get around and visit the other resorts including Malaga and Torremolinos. In Fuengirola there is a beautiful port where you can enjoy a meal at the many restaurants and take a look at many of the boats docked or from here you can take a dolphin sight seeing trip or take the catamaran to Benalmadena to visit the award winning port and portside shopping area. There is also the opportunity to go on sea fishing trips and even hire your own boat for exploration of the beautiful Alboran sea. As well as the many local visitor attractions it is also possible to take days trips to Gibraltar for tax free shopping and to visit the famous monkeys and natural cave systems and Tangier in Morocco to explore some of the local markets.
