great comfort with lots of room way up in the air. Its easy-to-grip oval tubing
ladder leads the way to a roomy hunting platform. The extra-wide, 1.5 Flex-Tek
seat flips back out of the way for standing shots. A flip-back footrest, padded
armrests, and 4-way adjustable shooting rail add to the stand's comfort to make
long days in the tree stand more enjoyable with the Big Game Hunter HD 1.5

GOOD
The first I had shipped and FedEx destroyed the box and parts were missing.
Retuned to a BPS store and got the replacement myself. So reading the
reviews, do yourself a favor and pickup in the store. The instructions were
a little difficult to wrap my head around in places, but easy enough to get
through. Took me 90 minutes to assemble. Pre-sort all the hardware, I used
small ziplock bags and labeled with the part number (A,B,C....) remember to
leave all bolts loose until finished, this will make alignment of the holes
easier and only tighten fully when it's completely assembled. Stretching the
seat over the posts can be challenging, but doable with some elbow grease
and a ratchet strap to pull the posts closer. You'll want a buddy or two to
help you carry it in the woods. I left it in sections; the top section, the
two ladder sections and the stabilizer brace to make getting through the
woods easier with some help to carry the pieces. Make sure to take a couple
7/16 wrenches for final assembly. It easy enough to set up and very sturdy
once in place, not squeaky and probably the most comfortable stand I've sat
on. The shooting rail has a lot of adjustment and the platform is very big
with enough room to stash a day pack under the seat. As per usual the
included safety harness is very basic and way to cumbersome to use. I just
used my own harness. I really notice a big difference in how much
better/further I can see between this 18.6' and my 15' stand. Knocking off a
star because the instructions are not well written and, uless you want to
carry it fully assembled, you'll need a couple wrenches to finalize assembly
because the gusset braces attach where 2 ladder sections come together and
must be bolted.

GREAT STAND! WISH THE PACKAGING COULD BE BETTER.
This is the 4th one I have bought. I love them!! Sturdy, comfortable and
pretty easy to put together. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is
because every one I’ve bought has been banged up inside the box. Meaning
scuff marks in the paint and what not. This last one was the worst one by
far. I took some good spray paint and painted over almost the entire stand!

WORST DIRECTIONS EVER
Bought this for a managed hunt but had to give up on it cause I only had so
much time to have it up. Has the absolute worst instructions to put it
together. None of the bolts are clearly marked they are just all thrown
together into a bag and it is up to you to use them were you think they go.
The instructions are vague at best I don't know how many times I had to take
it apart again to use different bolts
