REVIEW: THE PLANT BASE NATURAL SOLUTION SKIN ESSENCE

My life has been hectic these days, and I have been neglecting strict skincare
routine which is why my skin has become quite dry. I have been receiving some
products for review purpose and today’s post is about THE PLANT BASE Natural
Solution Skin Essence which I received 2 weeks ago, and have been using it as
part of my skincare routine. Another skin care product from Korea! Hooray! 

THE PLANT BASE was established in 2005 as the most famous natural soap brand and
it has been manufacturing 100% handmade natural soaps and entered skin care
business because of continuous consumer demand. THE PLANT BASE has a very strict
system which all the products by the company are hypoallergenic andare
concentrated with bases that are composed of plant extracts and formulated with
ECOCERT certified organic ingredients and natural essential oils. Now, with 8
different ranges and 45 skin care products, THE PLANT BASE is exporting over 10
countries and 100 global stores including Malaysia.

What I Say

It comes in a yellowish-green packaging. It has a simple packaging with enough
information both in Korean and English languages. So, I don’t have problem
looking for information over the Internet. My first impression about this
product is – nice! Apologize for being so ‘fussy’ on the packaging because I
have been studying in the Marketing industry, so I developed the habit to check
every single details including the packaging. Sorry.

Anyway, the essence is what I love the most because it comes in a very
lightweight, a bit watery, clear, and refreshing consistency. It has liquid
texture but thicker than water with a slight slimy look that is reminiscent of
most hyaluronic acid products. The essence get absorbed into the skin in a
matter of seconds and it does not leave my skin with greasiness or tautness.
Just a fresh and dewy look. I cannot comment about the anti-aging part because I
have only used it for about 10 days, I bet the result can only be seen after a
few months of religious using it. The only thing that I notice that the redness
on my skin has subsided, less sebum production, and more hydration.



Since it is more to a ‘natural solution’, I applied this on my 2 years old
daughter’s cheek as she had rashes and some redness this morning. I actually
dabbed a few drops of THE PLANT BASE Nature Solution Hydrating Bamboo Water on
her cheek before applied with THE PLANT BASE Natural Solution Skin Essence. Her
rashes subsides within a few minutes. In other words, it can be used as topical
relief.



The price might be pricey a bit but this product is really good. It’s not wrong
to invest on good and high quality product especially skin care products
because your skin will reflect the products that you put onto the skin.

My Verdict

This is a very good essence! I’d recommend this to everyone even to those who
have sensitive skin because this essence is so good to skin. It does not cause
breakouts when I applied it onto my skin, too. Definitely go straight into my
favourite skin care products for 2017!
