IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

As we enjoy more beautiful weather, the Bass Coast region is calling all
beachgoers to come and enjoy the sandy shores safely.
đŸš©To help you stay safe, we encourage everyone to download the Surf Life Saving
Australia, Beachsafe app and access important information available on the Life
Saving Victoria website lsv.com.au and throughout the Visitor Information
Centres.

đŸš©Always swim at patrolled locations whenever possible, and in hot weather, take
steps to protect yourself and others by keeping cool, staying hydrated, planning
ahead and checking in with others.

đŸš©Stay away from cliff edges and the base of coastal cliffs – do not sit or
stand within 10 metres.

We want everyone to keep safe when exploring the amazing coastline of Bass
Coast.

PROTECTING NATURE FOR WILDLIFE

Visitors to our ecotourism attractions fund the vital research, conservation and
education work we do. Our staff care for over 1,980 hectares of beaches,
bushland and wetland reserves on Phillip Island. Can you help us fulfil the
Nature Parks mission to protect nature for wildlife?

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

Phillip Island Nature Parks is a self-funded organisation. Revenue raised
contributes to research, environment and education projects.

RESEARCH

Our research is vital to our conservation work and helps us respond to threats
and future challenges to wildlife. We're world-leaders in little penguin
research and study other wildlife including Australian fur seals and coastal
birds.
