Why Complisafe?
We are experts and have been doing this for over 20 years. We are highly
qualified and have a proven track record in delivering quality, professional and
responsive service. We are about relationships and building them. Our clients

What is our vision?
We want to see proportionate and practical application of Health, Safety, Fire
and CDM requirements to ensure the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of everyone.
How do we go about our business?

It’s not about firing out the quickest and cheapest quote that’s for sure! We
want to engage with you and understand your needs and find the best solutions.
This can often save time and money as we have vast experience across many
industries, working with insurers, enforcing bodies and lawyers.<

How are we different to other consultancies?

We are a small business and proud of it. We have the experience and knowledge of
running a large consultancy and the pitfalls this can bring in terms of
competence and service so we focus on what we do well with integrity and
honesty.

How long have we been doing this work?

Complisafe Limited was established in December 2021. Prior to this the Founder
and Managing Director founded, owned and ran a large and successful Health and
Safety Consultancy based in Surrey from 2004-2022.<

Who owns Complisafe and what experience do they have?

Rob Anderson is the Founder / Managing Director of Complisafe Limited. Rob
started out in the Leisure and Events Industry Managing Sports Centres and
Events. Rob then worked for First Choice Retail as Health and Safety Manager for
several years before moving to ITV as a Trainer and Advisor at the London
Studios. In 2003/4 Rob set up one of the first Health and Safety Consultancies
within an award winning Insurance Brokerage servicing high risk industries such
as Construction, Waste, Manufacturing &amp; Engineering, this section of the
business was then part of a management buy out and led to RHSS Limited being
formed. Rob successfully sold his share holding in Havio (RHSS) in 2022 and
formed Complisafe Limited with many clients joining Complisafe as their
preferred consultancy.

This is about organisational resource, many orgainsations don’t have or need a
full time Health and Safety person employed so Complisafe step in to provide
this service on a retained basis at a sensible cost. The need for this comes
from the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 Regulation 7.

Yes. This is essential to ensure we meet your expectations. Check our
qualifications, insurance, experience, reviews, memberships and limitations –
not just the company but the person you will be working with. Many large
consultancies have part qualified consultants without the right knowledge and
experience who market themselves ambitiously. Choose the right consultancy for
you once you have done your homework.

Our services are centred around providing retained support and advice throughout
our engagement. We create policies, risk assessments, fire risk assessments,
construction documentation, site inspections, audits, on line training, bespoke
classroom training, accreditations.

How does Complisafe deliver differently?

Personalised consultancy service, we don’t use partly qualified or inexperienced
consultants, we don’t believe that just being a consultant in name makes you one
– experience and qualifications are key for getting it right. We are aware that
we are not for everyone and we are open when we recognise we are not right for
what you need

What type of companies use Complisafe?

Over the years we have pretty much worked with everyone excluding oil, gas,
nuclear and rail. We are not precious about having any particular size of client
as we often work with micro businesses as well as large international

How does Complisafe keep up to date and informed?

Our Consultants are Chartered Members of IOSH which means we are recognised,
maintain CPD, professional indemnity insurance, partake in online ethical
training, complete industry specific qualifications annually and consultants are
listed on the OSHCR – this is a register for people in the know – check to see

PRICING

Why are not all prices displayed on the web site?
All of our services can be priced competitively once we know more information
about the organisation and your needs. We base our fees on our time and the
level of competency we have as professionals. Some items such as online training
and site inspections will not vary too much but a risk assessment could be for
simple or large premises, low or higher risk activity, require a site visit or
involve research. A Health and Safety Policy can be simple or complex, involve
bolt on’s or merging of existing policies. Audits can be multi-sited, involve
many tiers of management and operational activity as well as complex equipment
and process. Speak to us first so we can ask the right questions and bottom out
what you need.
Why do we charge what we charge?
We need to be competitive but it’s not a race to the bottom. Our fees reflect
our knowledge, experience, skills and capability.
Is Complisafe able to look after a small business?
Yes. We have many clients who only have a small number of employees or sub
contractors and proportionate application is something we are a specialist at
implementing. This includes small contractors, retailers, charities, offices and
warehouses.
Do we offer reduced rates for Charities?

We don’t have anything set in stone but we certainly take this into account when
working with small charities. We won’t be the cheapest but we will offer real
value for our fully qualified and experienced consultants.

of premises so yes we can help and support depending on the type of service you
are looking for.
