to a crowd of young Muslim men, some of whom are wearing masks. It came as the

ended with 47 arrests and eight people being charged with crimes including
possession of an offensive weapon and threats to kill. Days later there were
similar scenes in Smethwick in the West Midlands when a group of more than 100
Muslim men protested outside the Hindu Durga Bhawan temple. The group, which set
off fireworks and abused worshipper, were stopped from storming the temple by a
ring of police. And there are fears the violence seen in Leicester and Smethwick
could spread to London, with reports of a planned demonstration outside a Hindu
temple in Wembley today.

One person is fighting for life and 10 others were injured after a vehicle
collided into a crowd at a car meet. The driver smashed into bystanders at the
Scunthorpe Car Meet at the Flixborough Industrial Estate near Scunthorpe,
Lincolnshire around 9.10pm Saturday. All eleven victims, including the
critically injured patient and four people who were seriously hurt,
are receiving medical assistance. A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion
of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Officers are now appealing for
dashcam or mobile phone footage in order to establish what happened during the

tips recommended to women of the time - from 'dropping a handkerchief', learning
how to paint and wearing a bandaid so men will ask what happened.

ADMITTING HE WANTED TO 'MIKE TYSON' HIS OPPONENT'S HEAD

A NASCAR race in Virginia descended into shocking violence after one driver
punched a rival and kicked his car in revenge for being flipped-off. Driver
Andrew Grady was seen throwing wild punches through the window of opponent Davey
Callihan's car after both drivers had pulled into the infield at the
Martinsville Speedway Saturday. Grady managed to pull down the window netting in
Callihan's car and threw haymaker after haymaker at his head. At one point, he
even kicked Callihan's door, and appeared to leave a dent in it. After
continuing on, Grady was picked up and hauled away by a bystander, with the
violent fracas finally coming to a conclusion.

Shocking footage of Fiona's impact shows the moment a storm surge triggers a
tsunami-style wave in a residential area of Port Aux Basques, knocking homes out
of their foundations as dwellings and cars alike get swept by the waters. The
battered homes in the town could be seen standing askew following the waves as
the streets were left flooded and littered with debris. Post-Tropical Cyclone
Fiona, as it is now called after being downgraded by the National Hurricane
Center, punished the coastal towns of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New
Brunswick and Newfoundland with winds of more than 80mph, which knocked out
power to 470,000 households. Although no deaths have been confirmed so far,
officials reported that one woman was missing after being washed out to sea from
her basement, but conditions remained too dangerous to conduct an immediate
search.
