ABOUT ME



Cecilia is a Certified Clinical Counsellor, born in Saskatchewan, currently
raising her own family on the Prairies in the Town of Caronport. Cecilia studied
her undergrad at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio and completed a
Master of Counselling degree at Briercrest Seminary. Recognizing there is a rise
in those suffering from many complex mental health issues, Cecilia has followed
her passion with genuine interest to help people achieve their potential. She is
looking forward to meeting you in person or virtually online.

FAQ

Do you direct bill insurance providers? How do I know if I am covered?

Metanoia Counselling does not do direct billing to insurance providers for
services at this moment. Instead, you pay for the service up front, then submit
your receipt for reimbursement. Most insurance companies cover around 80% of
counselling services. If you have 80% insurance coverage for counselling, you
will only need to pay the portion your plan does not cover. The majority of
insurance plans cover counselling with a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).

First Nations and Inuit are covered by insurance through the NIHB. Since every
insurance company offers several different policies with different coverage for
different services, the easiest way for you to find out if you’re covered is to
check under the extended health section of your insurance company’s website for
coverage for counselling/therapy with CCC.

 * Call your insurance company and ask if you are covered for
   counselling/therapy with CCC
 * Check under the extended health section of your benefits booklet for coverage
   to see CCC
 * Ask an HR representative to check if your benefits cover you to see CCC.

How can I pay for my counselling?

Metanoia Counselling currently accepts E-transfer, Debit Card, Credit Card.
