CREATING CENTURIES OF MEMORIES...

Our venue is built upon memories that span more than one hundred years. As you
enter our century-old barn, the craftsmanship weaves a rich story. From the
hand-hewn pegged beams to the fieldstone walls crafted on site in the late
1800’s. We've made it our passion to allow this barn to continue being the
center of memories made. Offering a unique space for any event, with a great
location in the countryside just north of Ames.

The Rustic Rose Barn was not only was the most gorgeous venue for our day, but
the whole team itself is absolutely spectacular! The venue itself is
breathtaking, we got so many compliments on it from our guests and bridal party;
we will cherish all the memories we made here! So many amazing amenities
available for both Bride, Groom, and guests alike! The venue space/land is also
incredibly versatile, we even held our ceremony indoors! I can’t say anything
but positive thoughts about this gorgeous venue or the incredible staff! Susan,
Isabella, and Ashley were so delightful to work with! They are so so passionate
about what they do and it reflects greatly! Over the course of four meetings,
they started to feel like family and they were so attentive to our needs. So
thank you to the whole Rustic Rose Crew for making our special day the best day!

"I 100000% recommend the Rustic Rose as a wedding venue! The staff are amazing
and so sweet! They are all so helpful when things are confusing or if you need
help with anything! They are one of the most reasonably priced venues we found
when we were searching for a wedding venue. Susan and her amazing team were so
kind and genuinely cared about our day as perfect as it can be! They work with
you on payments and do not require you to cater dinner! i wish I could replay
this day forever! They also let you use their items at a much cheaper cost than
any other place we had looked at! If you are considering this venue, just do it!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our wedding day! This barn
venue is absolutely breathtaking, combining rustic charm with elegance in the
most stunning way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the
picturesque surroundings and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the barn itself.
The attention to detail is impeccable, with the beautiful chandelier, twinkling
string lights, and gorgeous décor that created the perfect backdrop for our
ceremony and reception. The spacious layout allowed us to accommodate all our
guests comfortably while still maintaining an intimate feel.
We can’t forget the beautiful landscape and horses! This made for breath taking
photos and videos. Our guests loved this scenery just as much as we did!
The team at the venue went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly,
from the planning stages right through to the day itself. They were incredibly
professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day as special as
possible. They made us feel like family and couldn’t have asked for a better
group of people.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, and we know we’ll cherish the
memories made here for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s
both enchanting and unforgettable, this barn is truly a dream come true!

The Rustic Rose Barn was a fantastic venue for our wedding ceremony and
reception! Susan and her staff were amazing and very helpful throughout the
planning process and during our special day! We felt very welcomed and genuinely
cared for throughout the whole process. The barn is gorgeous and rich with
history. While we were wedding planning we discovered that the antique carousel
in Story City was renovated in the barn in 1900, and we reserved the carousel
for a private photo shoot and ride during our wedding party photos! We loved the
historical tie to our wedding space. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with the
large chandelier in the center of the dance floor and the string lights and
drapery wrapped around the old wood beams. It’s classically elegant with the
perfect touch of rustic. There was plenty of decor to borrow from the wedding
but we also liked that we could bring in our own touches. The getting ready
rooms were a lovely addition and the girls really liked the style of the bridal
suite. We really enjoyed the outdoor space for our ceremony, and the pond for
sunset photos. The outdoor patio was also a great place for guests to hangout
and socialize after dinner! We received so many compliments on our venue
selection and the helpful staff. Overall we had a great experience and highly
recommend the Rustic Rose Barn!
