Who is providing this notice?
Companies with the U.S. Bank and U.S. Bancorp names and other affiliates. Please
see below for a list of other affiliates that do not have a U.S. Bank or U.S.
Bancorp name. Except for California, North Dakota and Vermont residents, a
different notice applies to customers who leased or purchased a vehicle and
obtained U.S. Bank financing directly through a dealership. That notice from

WHAT WE DO
How does U.S. Bank protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use
security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer
safeguards and secured files and buildings.
How does U.S. Bank collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you
* open an account or apply for a loan
* use your credit or debit card or make deposits or withdrawals from your
account
* tell us about your investment or retirement portfolio
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus,
affiliates, or other companies.
Why can't I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only
* sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes – information about your
creditworthiness
* affiliates from using your information to market to you
* sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit
sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone
else?
Your choices will apply individually – unless you tell us otherwise.

Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and
nonfinancial companies.
* Our affiliates include companies with a U.S. Bank and U.S. Bancorp name;
financial companies such as U.S. Bank National Association and U.S. Bancorp
Investments, Inc.
Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and
nonfinancial companies.
* U.S. Bank does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you
Joint marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together
market financial products or services to you.
* U.S. Bank doesn't jointly market
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You may have other privacy protections under applicable state laws. To the
extent these state laws apply, we will comply with them when we share
information about you.
For California residents: In accordance with California law, we will not share
information we collect about you with companies outside of our corporate family,
except as permitted by law, including, for example, with your consent or to
service your account. We will limit sharing among our companies to the extent
required by California law.
For Vermont residents: In accordance with Vermont law, we will not share
information we collect about you with companies outside of our corporate family,
except as permitted by law, including, for example with your consent or to
service your account. We will not share information about your creditworthiness
within our corporate family except with your authorization or consent, but we
may share information about our transactions or experiences with you within our
corporate family without your consent.
For Nevada residents: We may contact our existing customers by telephone to
offer additional financial products that we believe may be of interest to you.
You have the right to opt out of these calls by adding your name to our internal
do-not-call list. To opt out of these calls, or for more information about your
opt out rights, please contact our customer service department. You can reach us
