Hermione Corfield as Sawyer Scott

Hermione Isla Corfield is a British model and actress who studied at the
University College of London and the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in
New York. She made her film debut in the 2014 film 50 Kisses, an ambitious
project that earned rave reviews at the London Independent Film Festival.

Hermione has since gone on to appear in supporting roles in Mission: Impossible
– Rogue Nation with Tom Cruise, Mr. Holmes with Sir Ian McKellen, Pride,
Prejudice and Zombies directed by Burr Steers, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
opposite Vin Diesel, and Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legends of the Sword. She
was singled out for particular acclaim among the talented ensemble of ITV’s
short-lived drama The Halcyon.

More recently, Hermione starred in Simon Pegg’s Slaughterhouse Rulez, the
nautical horror film Sea Fever, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi as A-Wing pilot
Tallie Lintra. She can also be seen in the British crime thriller We Hunt
Together.

Jay Paulson as Lowell Pritchert

Jay Paulson is an industry veteran whose credits reveal a versatile actor
equally at home in a period drama or a four camera sitcom. Lauded for his turn
as Adam Whitman on AMC's Madmen and as lovable recluse Physical Phil on ABC's
October Road, Jay recurs as Edgar Abbott in the second season of Freeform's
Beyond and is featured in the upcoming Philip K. Dick anthology series Electric
Dreams for Amazon. He’s is currently working on Patty Jenkins’ TNT limited
series One Day She’ll Darken with Chris Pine.

His film appearances include supporting roles in studio pictures like GO, Can't
Hardly Wait, and The Marc Pease Experience, as well as leading roles in
independent features such as Black Rock, Lucky Bastard, and Rust Creek.

Jay earned a degree from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and is
a lifetime member of The Actors Studio. He resides in Venice Beach with his
wife, two sons, and their dog Rupa. An avid reader, he is a nationally ranked
competitive scrabble player, writes poetry and enjoys distance running.

Sean O’Bryan as Sheriff O’Doyle

Sean O’Bryan has been seen on-screen in a host of features including Yes Man,
opposite Jim Carrey, Vantage Point, with Dennis Quaid, Phenomenon, with John
Travolta, and Richard Attenborough’s Chaplin, starring Robert Downey Jr. He has
made eight films for director Garry Marshall, including both of The Princess
Diaries movies. Most recently, Sean played Ray Monroe in Olympus Has Fallen and
its sequel London Has Fallen. Early in his career Sean also starred in Rust
Creek producer Stu Pollard’s directorial debut, Nice Guys Sleep Alone.

Sean’s television work includes a recurring role on The Middle, a guest arc on
Six Feet Under, series regular roles on Persons Unknown and Brother’s Keeper,
and guest appearances on Agent Carter, Workaholics, The Mentalist, Glee,
Leverage, Bones, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Cold Case, Felicity, Married with
Children, and the original Beverly Hills 90210, among others.

Among his many theatre credits, Sean has appeared in two critically acclaimed
Terrence McNally plays directed by John Tillinger: It’s Only a Play at the
Ahmanson Theatre, and The Libson Traviata at the Mark Taper Forum.

Micah Hauptman as Hollister Pritchert

Raised in Philadelphia, PA, Micah Hauptman began studying theater at West
Chester University and continued his training at the prestigious Actors Studio,
MFA program in NYC. After relocating to LA he was signed by CAA off his first
feature spec, Less Than Kind, which was optioned by director/ producer Lee
Daniels.

Micah’s most recent projects are The Riot Act, Just A Little Bit Longer, Asher,
and Anything (2017 LA Film Festival), which he produced with his manager/
producing partner Ofrit Peres, Louise Runge, and executive producer Mark
Ruffalo. Some additional highlights are his breakout role in Parker directed by
Taylor Hackford, a recurring arc on Showtime’s Homeland, Universal / Working
Title’s Everest, which opened both the Venice and Deauville Film Fests, and
Fishkill, a pilot presentation directed by Bob Balaban.

Micah will make his directorial debut next year with D is for Detroit, a film
that uses the racial divide and income inequality of Detroit as an allegory for
the country as a whole. Micah also wrote the script and will star opposite Omari
Hardwick.

Daniel R. Hill as Buck Pritchert

Daniel R. Hill is a Los Angeles based actor & writer originally from Louisville,
KY. He is 7 years classically trained, earning a BA in Theatre Performance and
then a MFA in Acting from the Professional Actor Training Program at the
University of South Carolina; where he was also trained in acting on camera.

Daniel worked extensively in professional theatre for the past decade at such
theatres as Utah Shakespeare Festival, Kentucky Shakespeare, National Black
Theatre Festival, and Actors Theatre of Louisville. He has also taught master
classes in Auditioning, Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Acting on Camera at multiple
universities, while guest directing productions such as Hamlet, Othello, and
Sylvia.

Daniel is also a former college football player with a diverse background in
combat for both stage and film. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and is represented
by Discover Management (LA & NY) and Heyman Talent Agency (Southeast & Midwest).
In addition to Rust Creek, he can be seen in the upcoming horror film The
Orchard as well as the Fox medical drama The Resident.

Jeremy Glazer as Katz

Born and raised in NY, Jeremy Glazer began his professional acting career after
graduating with a BA in Theater and Communications from the University of
Delaware. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, Jeremy quickly landed a role in
the Oscar winning Letters From Iwo Jima, directed by Clint Eastwood. Other films
roles followed, including Save Me, Good Dick, and Playing It Cool.

Jeremy has appeared in numerous guest and recurring roles on television shows,
including Grey’s Anatomy, Castle, Bones, The Mentalist, How I Met Your Mother,
Desperate Housewives, CSI, and Cold Case. He received a Best Lead Actor
nomination for an ISA Award in the web series These People and recently played
the lead in the pilot The Strivers. Jeremy continues to work in theatre whenever
possible.

In his spare time, Jeremy volunteers with Meals on Wheels, HashtagLunchbag and
the Art of Elysium at The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He also created
the variety benefit show Feed The Love, fundraising and bringing awareness to
The L.A. Food Bank.

John Marshall Jones as Slattery

A veteran of the stage and screen, John Marshall Jones’s baritone voice and
imposing 6’3” stature led to early success in Hollywood, landing him roles as a
Military Police Officer in both Good Morning, Vietnam and Casualties of War. He
has continued to play authority figures and tough guys for more than 35 years.

He has worked with such stars as Oscar winners Sean Penn, Helen Hunt, Jamie
Foxx, Forrest Whittaker, Robin Williams, and Steve Martin. He's had five TV
series, 20 feature films, has made over 200 episodic TV appearances, including
recent roles on Bosch, The Fosters, Criminal Minds, The League, The Mentalist,
In The Cut, Mann and Wife, Hart of Dixie, Battle Creek, Shameless, Glee, Pretty
Little Liars, Bones, NCIS, as well as the upcoming film, Paint it Black.

An award winning theater actor, John is the creator of “Mastering The Audition,”
an audition training program for actors. He loves working with young actors and,
because of his work on kid’s shows like The Troop and the long running hit Smart
Guy kids love him back.

Director: Jen McGowan

Jen McGowan is a director based in Los Angeles. Her first feature Kelly & Cal,
starring Juliette Lewis, Cybill Shepherd, and Jonny Weston, premiered at SXSW
Film Festival where she won the Gamechanger Director Award. The film was
released by IFC Films to rave reviews.

Jen got her start with award-winning short films, Confessions of a Late Bloomer
and Touch, both of which played at over a hundred festivals in the US and
abroad. She is also the creator of filmpowered.com, a skill-sharing site by
women and for women in the film and television industry. The site was named Best
in LA of 2016 by LA Weekly. It was also featured on Indiewire and is part of the
Sundance Women’s Initiative Resource.

Jen is a Film Independent Fellow, a finalist for the Clint Eastwood Filmmakers
Award, and a recipient of the AWD Breakout Award for Excellence in Directing.
She was also named one of Vulture’s Women Directors Hollywood Should Be Hiring.

Rust Creek is her second feature film.

Writer: Julie Lipson

Julie Lipson is from Northern California and graduated summa cum laude from
Middlebury College in Vermont with a joint major in Film and English. She was
awarded a Bread Loaf Writer’s Scholarship for poetry. She was a California
Junior Miss (talent) and an American
 scholarship Winner for Piano Performance
at the Chopin Institute in Warsaw. She holds an MFA in Writing for Screen and
Television from the University of Southern California (2011).

Julie is currently writing the one-hour drama EXCESS with Universal Cable
Productions and E! Network. The pilot follows bottle service waitresses
circulating in the high-end clubs of New York City. Most recently she sold a
series pitch to the studio, Super Deluxe. The show is based on the New York
Times Bestselling Y/A novel, OBEDIENCE, and is writing the one-hour pilot for
the studio.

Julie developed the project CHILDREN OF THE SUN at Echo Lake with director
Keith Gordon (Homeland, Fargo), as well as OLYMPUS REBORN with Bob Cooper
and eOne. She is a member of the Writers Guild of America West.

Rust Creek marks the eighth feature film Stu Pollard has produced in whole or
part in his home state of Kentucky. Other recent producing credits include
Alexandra Shiva's Syrian refugee documentary This Is Home (2018 Sundance
premiere), the powerful high school drama And Then I Go (2017 LA Film Festival
premiere), David Haskell’s debut feature The Outdoorsman (2017 Austin Film
Festival premiere), and Zachary Trietz’s Men Go to Battle (Winner of the Best
Narrative Feature at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival).

Lunacy’s current production slate includes the thriller Three Day Weekend
(directed by Wyatt McDill) and the rom-com Plus One (written & directed by
Andrew Rhymer & Jeff Chan, produced by Ross Putman and Red Hour Films).

Stu has directed two features; Nice Guys Sleep Alone and Keep Your Distance. In
his spare time he teaches at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and Film
Independent. He holds a degree in business from Georgetown, an MFA in film from
USC, is member of the DGA and PGA, and serves on the boards of the Louisville
Film Society and GU’s Alumni Board of Governors.

Michelle Lawler is a Los Angeles based cinematographer. Her feature documentary,
Forever's Gonna Start Tonight, won numerous audience awards including Outfest LA
2010. She also shot Outfest Grand Jury Award winners Wildness from director Wu
Tsang and Best Friends Forever, starring and directed by Brea Grant. Most
recently she lensed an episode for the fourth season of Transparent.

Michelle is a departmental honoree in Cinema Studies at San Francisco State
University, a graduate from the American Film Institute with an MFA in
Cinematography, and a Cinematography Fellow at Film Independent. A talented
writer, Michelle also co-created and lensed the comedy web series Hudson Valley
Ballers with Saturday Night Live veterans Paula Pell and James Anderson,
starring Paul Rudd and Kate McKinnon.

Additionally she has worked on several pieces for exhibition at MoMA and the
Hammer Museum, among other prestigious museum projects, the most recent of which
is Weed Killer alongside Kerry James Marshall.

Editor: David Hopper

David Hopper has cut several award winning projects across many genres including
music videos, documentaries, features, shorts, and webisodes. His credits
include the cult classic God Bless America, written and directed by Bobcat
Goldthwait which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival; In Between Songs, a
documentary about the plight of the Aboriginals narrated by Academy Award
Nominee James Cromwell, and 20 Weeks, directed by Leena Pendharkar, which
premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and FILM THREAT placed on its Top 10
list of indie films for 2017.

Rust Creek marks David’s fourth collaboration with director, Jen McGowan. They
previously collaborated on McGowan’s SXSW award winning film, Kelly & Cal
starring Juliette Lewis and Johnny Weston. They have been working together since
their days as students at the School of Cinematic Art at the University of
Southern California.

David lives in Santa Monica, CA with his wife, their two daughters and an
ever-growing menagerie of animals.

Production Designer: Candi Guterres

Candi Guterres was mentored by Academy Award winner John Myhre (Chicago) and
worked with him in the art department on features such as Anna Karenina and
Foxfire. Her heart lies in the independent film world, working with indie
directors like Gus Van Sant and Nick Perry, as well as Academy Award winning
producer Chris Donahue.

On the small screen Candi has worked on the acclaimed Nickelodeon series The
Brothers Garcia and the HBO feature Stranger Inside. She’s also proud to have
been part of the first all-Latino-cast studio picture, Chasing Papi (a.k.a Papi
Chulo).

Growing up Candi and her native Japanese parents split time between Portugal,
Nicaragua and the United States. She has a BA in architecture from Columbia
University, and spent 13 years in New York City working in everything from the
Japanese Ministry of Trade and Industry to clubs in the Lower East Side. After
leaving New York, she traveled to Tokyo and worked with a creative development
team for Sanrio. Eventually she merged her designing talents with entertainment,
doing prop styling for print ads and art directing music videos.

 

Composer: H. Scott Salinas

Award-winning composer, H. Scott Salinas has contributed towards an impressive
variety of notable projects including the Bruce Lee action fable Birth of the
Dragon, Aaron Sorkin's smash hit The Newsroom, TNT's dark thriller Murder in the
First, and Academy Award nominated documentary film Cartel Land.

After graduating from Princeton University, where he studied classical and jazz
music, Scott continued his training at Berklee College of Music with a
concentration in scoring for picture. In 2002, Scott became the youngest Grand
Prize recipient of the Turner Classic Movies Young Film Composers Competition
and along with accolades such as the prestigious Cannes Lion, Clio, and BMI
awards, Scott's accomplishments have earned him esteem and recognition as a
highly versatile yet specialized talent.

From composing the brooding hybrid orchestral score to the Darren Aronofsky
produced Zipper, to his original song “Jamie Smiles,” written for the cult
comedy classic Just Friends to acting as the instrumental mouthpiece behind the
Old Spice whistle, Scott's ability to create a meaningful impact for a wide
spectrum is showcased through his work.

Co-producer: Harris McCabe

A Connecticut native, Harris McCabe received bachelor’s degrees in English and
Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University while working as a
film critic for the New Haven Register. Graduating into a stagnant job market,
he spent a few years landscaping, home remodeling, and drinking heavily before
retreating back to academia.

He relocated to Los Angeles to earn his MFA in Film and Television Production
from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he focused on writing, directing, and
editing. Harris currently serves as Lunacy Productions’ Director of Development,
working with writers and producers to strengthen Lunacy’s slate and discover
exciting new content.

Harris’s recent producing credits include the riveting drama And Then I Go (2017
LA Film Festival premiere), David Haskell’s debut feature The Outdoorsman (2017
Austin Film Festival premiere), the upcoming thriller Three Day Weekend
(directed by Wyatt McDill) and the uproarious rom-com Plus One (written &

Producer Nicolaas Bertelsen hails from Ames, Iowa, and became interested in film
as a child when he discovered that his grandfather played a small role in The
Godfather: Part II. This opened the door to the idea of working in film - for a
kid who couldn’t have been more removed from Hollywood.

Nicolaas has over 20 years of physical production experience and is currently
producing The Tomorrow Man with Anonymous Content and Noble Jones (The Social
Network). His other recent feature films include Rust Creek, Deidra & Laney Rob
A Train (Sundance), The Land (Sundance), End of Fall (New Filmmakers New York),
Yosemite (Slamdance), Memoria (Austin Film Festival), and The Labyrinth
(Screamfest).

Nicolaas holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media Studies from Iowa State
University, a Master of Fine Arts degree in Cinema-Television from the
University of Southern California, and is a member of the Producers Guild of
America.

 

Sound Designer: Gabriel J. Serrano

Gabriel  J. Serrano’s journey in post production sound began at Mercury Sound
Studios in June 2005. There he mixed his first feature film and split time as
Engineer, Mixer and Mix Technician. Next, he moved into a position at Todd-AO
Vine Street before finally settling down at Wilshire Stages. Within six months
that facility turned into Wildfire, where he spent seven years gaining valuable
experience as a Re-Recording Mixer.

In the fall of 2013, Gabriel joined Formosa Group supervising and mixing films.
Gabriel has also been working alongside Marti D. Humphrey at The Dub Stage as
his Sound Effects Re-Recording Mixer. Gabriel has experience working on
everything from Hollywood blockbusters like John Wick: Chapter 2, horror films
like Wish Upon, and indie fare like Rust Creek.

Gabriel holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication (with a minor in Music
Science Technology) from Stanford University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in
Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California.

Special Effects: Everett Byrom

Everett Byrom III is a special effects coordinator with three decades of
experience in the film business and more than 60 credits. He started in the art
and property departments and quickly transitioned into special effects where he
has worked for more than 26 years, working as a coordinator for the past 11.

A native Texan, he moved back to Austin from Los Angeles in 2001 where he
founded EB3 Effects Fab, a full service prop fabrication and special effects
shop. Along with his brother and business partner, Craig, Everett continues to
work on projects ranging from low budget indies to blockbuster studio movies.

Everett enjoys his job and continues to meet each challenge with an amiable
attitude. He and his team have the skills and experience to tackle almost any
project and see it from conception to production and their unblemished safety
record is a testament to their expertise and professionalism.

Sound Mixer: Kari Barber

Kari Barber graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with an MFA in Film
Production. As a female filmmaker, she has been inspired by Kathryn Bigelow’s
action/drama films, and she plans to follow her example by blazing her own path
in a traditionally male-dominated genre. She enjoys creating engaging,
character-based films that match the quality of any major motion picture. She
was nominated for a Student Emmy 2013 for her short film “The Fifth Horseman.”

Kari grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and was neighbors with John Lasseter,
which is where she got her first love of film. Before USC, she attended Bowdoin
College and Harvard University. In her free time she rows and runs marathon.

Throughout her life Kari wanted to serve in the military and fly as a Naval
Aviator for the Marines. Unfortunately, she was unable to join for medical
reasons. She cannot serve her country, but she CAN serve those who do. Kari
intends to tell the important stories of the brave men and women of our Armed
Forces so that they are never forgotten.

 

Special Effects Makeup: Allie Shehorn

Allie Shehorn is a freelance makeup and special effects artist from Bakersfield,
CA. She studied sculpture and painting in art school before leaving to attend
Los Angeles's Cinema Makeup School. In 2016 she took first place at the
prestigious London IMATS makeup competition for her take on an alien bounty
hunter.

In her brief career Allie has worked on music videos, commercials, shorts,
television, and ten feature films. Equally adept at beauty makeup, blood and
guts, and creature designs, one day she might be creating monsters and gore for
a Crypt TV short, and the next day she’ll be on a commercial shoot doing glamour
makeup. In addition to Rust Creek her other upcoming projects include the TV
show Smoketown, Adi Shankar's Gods and Secrets, and the thriller The
Neighborhood Watch.

Allie lives in Los Angeles with her husky mix, Riley. She enjoys cheap wine,
watching bad horror movies, and travelling, both for work and for fun.

Costumes: Alexis Scott

Alexis Scott’s diverse credits include everything from Oprah’s Master Class
documentary series, to TV shows like Amazon’s Just Add Magic, and films that
range from Van Wilder to That Evening Sun which premiered at SXSW and won the
Audience Award for Narrative Feature (among other awards).

In her 20+ year career she has designed costumes for some of the most revered
filmmakers in the industry, including Wim Wenders (Land of Plenty) Vincent Gallo
(Buffalo ‘66), Alex Cox (Repo Chick), and Abel Ferrara (Game of Death). Her
recent credits include Message From the King starring Chadwick Boseman and Luke
Evans, and Soy Nero, selected Berlin Film Festival 2016.

She attended San Francisco State University for English Literature, but began
her costuming career as a milliner in the San Francisco Ballet’s costume shop.
She worked in theaters and films in New York, before moving to Los Angeles where
she’s since gone on to work on over 40 films.

Casting Director: Caroline Liem

Caroline Liem is a casting director based in Los Angeles. Before there was
American Horror Story there was Popular, her first casting experience working
with UDK and Ryan Murphy, and she was hooked. 20 years later she has cast studio
features, independent films, television series and pilots for Paramount,
Twentieth Century Fox, Disney Studios, Sony, Warner Bros, Nick Jr, ABC, CBS,
NBC, The CW and Fox.

Learning from some of the best in our industry led Caroline to Disney Studios
casting department overseeing such projects as Gone In Sixty Seconds, Pearl
Harbor and Gangs of New York. She served as head of casting for the award
winning late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! and if you’re a gamer, may have
enjoyed her contributions to Assassin’s Creed III and Far Cry. Additional
credits include X-Men 2 and Blade Trinity.

Casting Director: Jeremy Gordon

Jeremy Gordon, a Heller Award winning casting professional, has spent the last
14+ years casting feature films, television shows, web-series, podcasts, short
films and commercials at both the indie and network/studio level.

One of the most respected industry publications, Backstage, named Jeremy one of
Los Angeles’ “Power Casting Directors of Tomorrow”. He is a member of the
Casting Society of America (CSA), where he also spent two years on their Board
of Directors. Additionally he is a member of the Television Academy (The
Emmys!).

Some of Jeremy’s favorite projects include “We’re The Millers,” for which he
received an Artios Award nomination, “Think Like A Man,” Rob Reiner’s “LBJ” and
“Shock & Awe”, John Singleton’s pilot, “Snowfall,” AMC’s “Hell On Wheels” and
the instant indie feature hit “Spork”.
