 * Press the reapply or submit button.\

MAKE CHANGES TO ACCOUNT

You can also use the facility of changing details of your SASSA account like
changing SASSA banking details or changing phone number you submitted in SASSA
application.


CHANGE BANKING DETAILS

The bank changing facility by SASSA can be used when you want to shift to
another account, for example, you want to receive your payments in any other
banking company’s account.

 * Clear your browser caching before taking any step in this process, visit here

 * Two option will be displayed to your South African ID Holder and Asylum
   Seeker.
 * Click on Asylum if your are, or click on South African ID holder, choose the
   most suitable to your residency status.
 * A screen will appear requiring your ID number and phone number, enter these
   details correctly.
 * You’ll the get a OTP code on your same phone number for verification.
 * After verification through OTP, you’ll be able to edit your banking details
   in your SASSA application.

If you’re changing your bank from the previous bank to a new bank account, it’s
highly advised to only change to a bank account that SASSA accepts to send you
your grant payments.


CHANGE PHONE NUMBER

This amazing facility for changing phone number can be utilized for many
purposes, like you’ve lost your phone or wanted to change your current telecom
network to a new network.

 * Login to your account by entering your ID number and phone number.
 * Search for change number button in your account window.
 * You’ll proceed to changing your phone number, add your new phone number in
   the field and press submit.
 * On your new number, you’ll receive a OTP notification for verification. 
 * After OTP verification this, you’ll again receive a confirmation OTP on your
   new number to confirm the number change, and you are all done.


HOW TO CANCEL SASSA GRANT

SASSA does provide an option to cancel your existing grant at any time, this
option is built for people who are now financially stable and don’t need SASSA
grants anymore to meet their monthly expenses.

You can stop your SASSA grant by following few steps, if you’re now financially
strong and wants that your grant should be provided to the most deserving South
African, then you must cancel your grant. 

Not only for financially strong people, but people who were receiving disability
grant due to temporary disability or injury can go for canceling their grant OR
children who were receiving for a specific age should cancel their grant. Follow
the given steps to stop your grant payments.

 * Open official SASSA website.
 * Login your grant account using your ID and phone number. Your ID will be your
   username here.
 * On your registered number, you’ll receive a OTP, enter this OTP on the SASSA
   website to proceed further for cancellation.
 * You’ll see a tab named as ‘Cancel My Grant’ click this and then click
   confirm.
 * After sometime you grant will be canceled and you’ll receive a confirmation
   on your phone regarding cancelation.
