PROCESS

DISCOVER

In our initial stage, we get to know the problem inside and out. In
collaboration with our partners, we engage in discovery sessions to define the
challenge, develop working hypotheses, and develop a logic model to guide us in
finding the most effective solution.

DESIGN

Through a human-centered design approach, we analyze our problem in partnership
with those it is intended to impact. In this phase, we focus on designing our
overall product and technical architecture, as well as user experience, visual
interfaces, and aesthetics. Our target milestone for this phase is to develop a
set of blueprints that detail our vision, and provide a road map for
development.

DEVELOP

With blueprints in hand, we move towards building our vision through production.
This stage includes iterative cycles of visual design, engineering, media
production, and testing - tailored to the specific product we're creating.

DEPLOY

Having created an initial prototype, we move through stages of meticulous
testing before full deployment. Though it takes a lot of work to get to this
point, it's just the beginning, as now is when we test the product in the
real-world and gather evidence. At later points in this stage, we often launch
distinct evaluation or research projects to formally assess how our solution
impacts care.

REPEAT

Good products are effective at launch - but great products are continuously
managed and adapted to the changing dynamics of users, and the world around us.
We stay true to this notion by engaging our stakeholders after launch,
continuously evaluating the impact of our products, and iterating back through
the cycles of discovery to deployment.
