After several stops and starts in her college education, GTCC student Joanne Martin, 52, will graduate in May with a degree in nursing. I gathered my family together to open the decision and when the Tiger emblem came up on the screen, I was so excited. It was such a good feeling, a full ride to my dream school. Jorge Suarez gives much credit for his success to his decision to attend the GTCC Middle College and the instructors he had while there. I still don’t know why she showed up; she just appeared. I just truly believe it was meant for me to go to nursing school. I believe the good Lord helped me through. Cheryl Moore quit her job and earned a nursing degree from GTCC in her 40s with the help of an inspirational instructor.
