SUPPORTING RESOURCE EXPLORATION IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY

The Resourcing the Territory initiative will be expanded to $9.5 million per
annum on an ongoing basis from 1 July 2022. The initiative supports mineral and
petroleum exploration and development in the Territory through a range of
geoscience and exploration stimulus programs.

NTGS RELEASE SPECTRAL REFLECTANCE ATLAS OF ROCKS FROM THE TENNANT CREEK REGION

11 Jul 2022

A comprehensive atlas of spectral reflectance rock characteristics from the
Tennant Creek mineral field has been released. The Atlas contains mineralogy
results, spectral characteristics and a comparison between visually logged and
spectrally derived mineralogy for key rocks types from the Tennant Creek mineral
field.

NTGS BRUNETTE DOWNS GROUND GRAVITY SURVEY RELEASED

29 Jun 2022

Funded under the Resourcing the Territory initiative, managed by Geoscience
Australia and infilled by industry partners, the NTGS Brunette Downs Ground
Gravity survey has greatly improved resolution of the gravity data over a large
area of the Barkly region, north of Tennant Creek extending to the Queensland
border.
