OUR MISSION




St. Vincent’s is dedicated to strengthening low-income families and seniors
through programs rooted in the Social Teachings of the Catholic Church. Faithful
to the charism of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, we serve our
sisters and brothers by providing affordable housing, early childhood education,
and family enrichment opportunities.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

We recognize that the first five years of a child’s life will provide the
foundation that shapes their future health, happiness, growth, development, and
learning achievement in school, in the family and in our community.

Home Sweet Home. It’s a simple and familiar phrase, but not always easy to
attain. A stable home is a vital component in the pursuit of a meaningful and
productive life.

Designed to assist low-income single mothers and their young children, the
Family Strengthening Program at St. Vincent’s is the only service of its kind in
Santa Barbara County.
