ABOUT US


What are you building?

Openfort is a technology company that builds economic infrastructure for the
blockchain industry, allowing projects to onboard new users and monetize in new
ways.

We are on a mission to empower everyone to own and control their digital assets.

How are you doing this?

User’s assets should be linked to accounts that can meet their UX expectations
without compromising on security or vendor locking. We achieve this through
smart contract accounts.

So what are you doing differently?

We've crafted a better way for developers to interact with players' blockchain
accounts. By owning the complete stack necessary to communicate with the
blockchain and drastically simplifying what is needed to send the first
transaction on-chain, we open the blockchain space to many new studios around
the world.

We are developers first. Developers need to be able to craft delightful
experiences that don’t get in the way without compromising custody.

We are gaming first. We are focused on an industry that already moves hundreds
millions of dollars worth of digital assets and needs new solutions.

Based on blockchain, public goods. We leverage improvement proposals and
technology that scale what developers and gamers can do with digital assets and
entertainment.

Who is in the founding team?

We're two brother with a long experience in working together.

Joan (CEO) grew up in Barcelona and moved to Berlin to work at Rocket Internet
and Formel Skin. After that he partnered with Jaume to build projects that
yielded more than half a million dollars in GMV and sold an AI SaaS to a
Canadian company.

Jaume (CTO) grew up in Barcelona. Holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering and a
MSc in Computer Science. Worked on ADAS systems in self-driving systems and in
cryptography developing secure storage solutions. Before Openfort, he sold an AI
SaaS company.

been too risky to own. Today solutions are gated and proprietary, carrying too
much risk, single points of failure and incentive misalignment.

You can help build a way for all developers to tap into that power instead of
“trusting” ancillary and siloed solutions.

We're swinging for the fences to build an incredible product and company. After
participating in the summer 2022 Pear Accelerator and raising our seed round,
we’re scaling up our efforts to become the reference solution to finally offer
blockchain benefits to games.

You’ll be pivotal to scaling the company as much as the codebase, including
technical best practices and culture, scaling, product releases, etc.

We are fortunate to have investors that include PearVC, Maven11, and Gumi
Cryptos as well as founders and angels from SAFE and YGG.
