OUR PROJECTS

WE SUPPORT PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES WHO ARE COMMITTED TO ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL
JUSTICE TO CREATE OR JOIN INITIATIVES THAT LIVE AND BREATHE THE VALUES OF THE
SOLIDARITY ECONOMY: REAL DEMOCRACY, SOCIAL JUSTICE, ECOLOGICAL SUSTAINABILITY,
AND CO-OPERATION.

CONVERSATIONS WITH GAMECHANGERS WEBINARS

SOLIDARITY ECONOMY STRATEGIES FOR A NEW AND BETTER WORLD

A series of online conversations with radical grass-roots solidarity economy
organisations across the world who are breaking new ground in their own contexts
while building power in their communities.

BUILDING A SOLIDARITY ECONOMY ORGANISERS NETWORK

We want to help weave a web between organisations that can support and learn
from each other, in order to build up a thriving solidarity economy that can
meet people’s needs, build their power to fight exploitation and bring
collective ownership of their communities’ resources.

CO-OPERATION IN MESOPOTAMIA

Fostering international solidarity between the UK co-op movement and the
predominantly women-led solidarity economy that’s being created in North and
East Syria (Rojava) and Bakur (southeastern Turkey).

WATER FOR ROJAVA

Raising funds for vital water projects and women's co-operatives in North and
East Syria.

POLITICAL CO-OP EDUCATION

We participate in a wide variety of online and physical events, running
workshops and giving talks with the aim of bringing a deeper political
consciousness to the co-op movement.

THE DIGITAL COMMONS COOPERATIVE

DCC is a platform cooperative that is owned by its users, workers, investors,
and data providers. It uses GIS, mapping, linked data and other tools to empower
communities and help social justice and solidarity economy organisations
leverage the power of data for regenerative change.

OWNED BY OXFORD

Owned by Oxford is a 'Bottom up meets Top down' Community Wealth Building pilot
project, working to build a community-led economy in Oxford, UK. It was
co-founded by SEA, in partnership with several local Oxford cooperatives, grass
roots community enterprises and the Oxford City Council.

CLASS WORK PROJECT

‘RECOGNITION, REDISTRIBUTION, AND REVOLUTION’

We work with Class Work Project in the Solidarity Economy Organisers Network,
and have also co-organised and supported workshops with them on class and
co-operatives.

MIGRANTS ORGANISING FOR RIGHTS AND EMPOWERMENT

MORE!

A group of migrants and members of the community campaigning for the right to
work, study, good housing and to be treated with dignity. We work with MORE in
the Solidarity Economy Organisers Network.

DECOLONISING ECONOMICS

BUILDING A SOLIDARITY ECONOMY MOVEMENT ROOTED IN RACIAL JUSTICE PRINCIPLES

We work with Decolonising Economics in the Solidarity Economy Organisers
Network, and have also attended their excellent workshops.

STIR TO ACTION

We've spoken at and supported events run by Stir to Action and have written a
number of pieces for their publication Stir Magazine. Click the link to read our

DOTCOOP

A SHARED IDENTITY THROUGH A CO-OPERATIVE DOMAIN NAME.

We've been mapping the international co-operative movement using innovative
technology infrastructure with DotCoop.
