The lightbar works great, my visibility during snow storms and fog has
significantly improved. I love the look of the lightbar and like how it is out
of site when off. The installation was simple thanks to the video and only took
me two hours.

I find these lights to be very well made. Fit and finish are very good, and
installation was relative easy and straightforward. The light they provide is
outstanding and a vast improvement over the OEM lights. It is readily obvious

I have been looking at the C1 Pro Reverse Light Kit for my 2021 4Runner for a
while now as I haven't been satisfied with the lighting from the OEM back-up
lights. So, I pulled the trigger during the Black Friday (2023) sale. One of the
considerations for my install is that I already have the Auxbeam 6 Gang Switch
Panel installed for my aftermarket lighting and I wanted to use it to "anytime"
turn on the Diode Dynamic Stage Series back-up lights independent of them
activating automatically with the OEM reverse lights. Jeff at Diode Dynamics
provided me with instructions for modifying the wiring harness switch circuit to
make the proper connections. The modifications to the provided wiring harness
were pretty straight forward and involved wiring in a diode to one leg of the
switch circuit and adding a new wire to another leg that would connect to my
Auxbeam "underhood" fuse/relay box. While making the needed modifications, I
also shortened the switch leg of the harness length to better fit my
installation location. After modifying the harness, I installed the provided
"Plug-and-Play" harness into my driver side tail light and hooked everything up
to test before routing the harness under the 4Runner. To my delight, everything
worked as planned! At this point, I had about 2 hours invested in the install as
I made the wiring modifications very carefully. Next was the routing of the
wiring harness from under hood to the rear of the vehicle and it took me a
couple of hours to get this done working on my back under the 4Runner in my
garage. I was quite impressed with the quality of the wiring harness and the
instructions provided to make the mods needed to fit my application. Also, I am
very happy with the significant improvement in lighting the new SSC1 Pro pods
are providing. I tow a kayak trailer occasionally and having the option to turn
on the new back up lights when loading at night will be welcomed.
