HEAR FROM OUR CLIENTS

My wife and I were part of a birding group organised by a uk firm, with Langur
as the local agents who provided all the logistics plus guiding. As we were part
of a group we had overnights in hotels but also had a catering team that
provided cooked breakfasts and lunches out in the field. The hotels and guest
houses were good and the catering team were excellent and very friendly. Even
though they were sleeping in tents out in the fields they would have a steaming
hot breakfast ready for us when we arrived and then move on to a new site to lay
on an excellent lunch!

Our guide, Chubzang, was very knowledgeable and found us many birds including
some quite rare endemics.

I have been on birding trips to many counties all over the world and this trip
was one of my favourites!

Birding Trip to Bhutan (Mar-April 2018)


Our birding trip to Bhutan in 2012 was led by Chubzang Tangbi of Langur Eco
Travels. He was an excellent leader and birder and he and his team of driver,
cook and camp crew provided excellent logistical support. The nine nights in
hotels were of a good comfortable standard and on the seven nights camping
Langur Eco Travels provided comfortable tents, camp beds, sleeping bags, camp
fires and hot water bottles when necessary, and a very ample kitchen offering
tasty food in camp and in the field during birding. It was a nice size group and
the camaraderie was excellent. Many thanks to Chubzang and Langur Eco Travels.
The trip will be difficult to match.”

Chubzang Tangbi worked with Indus Films in 2008 on our TV project for BBC, A
Year In Bhutan, researching, setting up programme content and travelling to
Bhutan on location with the TV crew. Chubzang is a very agreeable, diligent and
reliable person to have on a team. He showed a great deal of initiative and
contributed substantially to both the location shoot and to the content of our
programme. We enjoyed working with Chubzang and would highly recommend him to
other visitors to Bhutan.
