WHAT DOES SAFECIC OFFER?

Online Training

Online Training is economical and very convenient for individuals or any size of
organisation.

All of our online courses are high quality, are always kept fully up to date and
meet or exceed the requirements of all relevant regulatory authorities and
professional organisations.


Each comprises a number of units with video instruction, text, educational
quizzes, downloads and resources, plus a final assessment test. Progress is
continually saved, so candidates can dip in and out at will.

Online Training Courses are usually valid for two years and are available either
on our own learning platform or as SCORM courses for use on other learning
management systems.


Face to Face Bespoke Training (Online or Onsite)

Face to Face Bespoke Training (Online or Onsite) is tailored to your
organisation's specific needs and delivered by experienced safeguarding experts.

Our dedicated research department ensures that the course content is always
fully up to date and meets or exceeds the requirements of all relevant
regulatory bodies and professional organisations.

They are usually valid for three years and can be delivered Online (via ZOOM) or
Onsite anywhere in the UK and abroad (customer to arrange venue). Free
quotations are always available.

Blended Learning (Online course plus Bespoke Online or Onsite training).

Blended Learning is a blend of our online training courses plus face to face
onsite or online bespoke training sessions with our safeguarding experts.

These courses are usually valid for three years and their cost normally falls
somewhere between on-line and fully live training, while combining the best of
both worlds.

Our dedicated research department ensures that the course content is always
fully up to date and meets or exceeds the requirements of all relevant
regulatory bodies and professional organisations.

Our most popular Bespoke and Blended Learning courses are also available as
"Open House" for individuals and small groups to attend. Onsite versions are
hosted at our dedicated training facilities in Eye, Suffolk.


DBS Checks

SAFEcic is an umbrella body for processing DBS checks. We offer a subscription
free, paper based service which includes;

Rapid Reviews

Taking just two hours management time via Zoom or Teams, SAFEcic's Safeguarding
Rapid Reviews are ideal for all sectors including Ofsted, CQC and Charity
Commission regulated organisations.

Our Safeguarding Rapid Reviews are a proven, cost-effective and efficient way
for busy managers, directors and trustees to quickly and easily gain external,
expert insight and support in helping their organisation attain the highest
level of safeguarding culture, policy, procedures and practice. Each Rapid
Review concludes with preparation of a high-level assessment report and a RAGGED
(Red, Amber, Green) action plan to efficiently and cost effectively address any
issues identified.

Audits and Pre-Inspection Services

The expert SAFEcic team has been providing focussed and high quality
safeguarding audits and pre-inspection services for over 20 years.

Our Audit and Inspections are thorough, but our style is helpful rather than
challenging, as our intention is always to improve safeguarding practice. We
have the knowledge and experience to offer very effective audits and inspection
services either Online or Onsite.


They are available for a wide range of organisations including charities,
businesses, faith groups, leisure, health and education. These services are
dedicated to raise standards for safeguarding children and/or adults and also
assist managers in benchmarking the safeguarding arrangements in their
organisation.

Policy Writing

All organisations need safeguarding and associated policies. SAFEcic has the
expertise and experience to help in all cases.

Organisations which do not work directly with children, young people or adults
at risk, can adopt quite brief and simple policies.

Organisations working directly with children, young people and/or adults at risk
need more complex policies and procedures in place, and need to know that their
policies are thorough and fully current.

SAFE Membership includes pro-forma safeguarding policies which can be adapted
easily by many organisations. Included in membership is a review of the adapted
policies by SAFEcic experts to ensure they are fit for purpose.

Many organisations have more specialist involvement with children, young people
and/or adults at risk, and pro-forma safeguarding policies are not sufficient.
SAFEcic has the expertise to work with these organisations to create and
maintain bespoke policies and procedures suitable for even the most complex
circumstances.

or use chat), and we will sort it all out for you, free of charge. We will even
manage your account for you, which includes uploading your people (whether it's
